I hired JAE Construction and roofing for a 500 ft. flat roof. I paid 50% up front and balance upon completion. I was given a receipt and release of lien signed by the president (Jason Roberts) and notarized. 3 months later, they contact me asking for more money. They convinced their building supplier to place a lien on my property, after threatening ABC building supplies with a lawsuit for illegally placing a lien on my property they quickly removed the lean. 8 months after the roof replacement, it is leaking. After numerous attempts to reach them, they finally returned our calls only to say they stand behind their claim that there is an outstanding balance and that the receipt and release of lien is not valid and that until I pay them more money, they will not honor the warranty. We will be consulting an attorney. DO NOT USE JAE or any other companies owned by this company. (Jason Robert)

Roofing did not meet the municipal building codes, waiting for mediation. Limited response and action from JAE for the notifications from the building inspector that the building did not meet the code. To date JAE have received $39,844.

An unreliable company, my roof took 9 months to complete after signing a contract in January 2021 when the job should have only taken 4 months. Multiple excuses non that make any sense, none brought at the time of signing the contract. Multiple unanswered messages or e-mails and when threatened with cancelation company owner (Jason) finally reply with taking legal action because there was a contract signed (same contract they did not abide by) the owner gives me his **word** he will personally take action to include a discount and I believed on his word, should have known better, his **word** meant nothing, Had to wait another 2 months for commencement, my conversation with him happened in June, also no discount and still without my gutters. Again multiple unanswered messages, I get a new POC (Rafi) same story after the second week waiting she also declined to return my calls or messages. The office manager just answers the phone and the replies are always the same that she will forward the calls to Jason or Rafi but replies never get back. For the amount of money, they make on these projects customer service should be a priority. 9 months is an unacceptable time to wait for a project especially here in Florida with the rainy season and an exposed roof could mean costly damage to your roof. All they care about is making a fast buck you should not bite more than you can chew. Watch out for these company gimmicks I definitely would not recommend them.

I contracted with this company to replace my roof in May of this year. Since then the salesman who I signed with is no longer employed there. I spoke with him August and he told me to call the office as it was a very long time. I did and was told they were waiting on permits. I found out that was untrue. I am consistently getting the run around from the company. They can't give me a date as to when this work will be done. I have no liason in with company to get me answers. As the salesman is that person. He left so now I am getting no response. I hired them as they claimed to be a small family owned and operated company. However I feel totally abandoned. Worse my hoa is now asking me to clean my roof! Why would I do that on a roof that is slated for construction. My contract states work would begin 72 hours after permits. This is false!!!!

The owner of this company is an incompetent arrogant manipulative individual that will send the lowest subcontractor to do the work.His license should be revoked.If you hire this guy you will regret it,the other positive reviews are probably fake.

PLEASE, READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE HIRING! This company is not only unprofessional and unethical but they are also complete liars. Before hiring Jason, I was made promises and told that the job would be an easy and quick fix. Over a year later, I am still trying to get someone to answer my calls, they have kept my deposit and have not stepped foot on the property to begin. Due to their lack of professionalism, commitment, and work ethic, I have had to go to even more trouble with my remodeling project and now have to pay even more due to the damages of waiting so long to get my project done. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Not only did they keep my money, but now I have to pay almost double due to their negligence and incompetence. I originally booked them because of their initial friendly demeanor and their affordability. However, now this job has cost me almost triple in price since they refused to give me my initial deposit and now the damage is so bad that I had to hire another company to fix the initial problem and the other problems now due to their lack of professionalism Do yourself a favor and GO ELSEWHERE. You will thank me if you do.

Worst communication and customer service that I have EVER experienced. Nearly every time someone was supposed to show up to work they did not, and nearly every time someone did show up to work it was unexpected. After several requests to communicate better, and promises that they would, this did not improve. I simply asked to be notified 24 hours in advance of anyone showing up to work to make sure someone was home to let them in, which I don't feel was an unreasonable request. They actually stopped communicating altogether at one point, only to resurface 3 months later offering to finish up the work that was started 8 months prior. I had actually given up on them at this point and assumed they had gone out of business. I was promised numerous times since December that they would provide me with pictures of the hurricane straps and wind mitigation report to submit to my insurance, which would ultimately have resulted in a 22% discount on my homeowners insurance, and finally have received them after asking for 7 months, costing me approximately $750 in savings over that time frame. The icing on the cake was when one employee told me I would receive the wind mitigation report and final walk-though BEFORE final invoicing at pretty much the exact same time Jason sent a threatening email to make the final payment before 5pm the following day or they will start the process of lien and lawsuit. This goes to show the communication within the organization is as non-existent as it is with their customers. I wouldn't wish this kind of service on my worst enemies.

I replaced my 24 year old tile roof with JAE Construction after an exhaustive comparison of more than a dozen local roofing companies in the tri-counties. I could not be more confident in my choice and pleased with the results. From the first on-site discussion to the final walk around I found working with Brent Markham and Jill Cipolla to be straight forward, without pressure and very responsive. Contractual discussions were clear, open, detailed in the contract and, most of all, to my satisfaction. Time tables were agreed upon beforehand and the roof was finished when expected. If you have roofing needs I strongly recommend you give JAE Construction your first consideration.

Not satisfied with the job. The grout on our roof did not match the tile and the new rain gutters were barely or not even attached. And once we let Jason know he started avoiding our calls. We had to hire another company to fix their work. Terrible customer service try someone else!

I recommend JAE Company to anyone that is looking for a great job in a timely matter. Jason (the owner) was recommended to me and after talking with him, both my husband and I felt he was someone that would do the job the right way the first time. The entire neighborhood was surprised how quickly the roof was completed. We would recommend them to everyone.

He lies. All his crews are subcontractors, and they did a fairly good job, except for a little damage that nobody would fix. Does not return phone calls once he paid. Do not hire.

True professional. Came on time and did the work. Really respect that.
