They came out to look at our issue and said they would get us a quote within a day or two but never called us. While he was trying to unclog our drain, he made a huge mess in our bathtub.

On time friendly and thorough service

I had a basement sump pump failure, resulting in flooding of the partially finished basement. A Rooter man responded quickly and did a good job of keeping me updated on the timing of his arrival. I was provided a price for a top-of-the-line sump and a battery backup combo for both of my sump pumps. The technician went to Lowe and purchased equipment, and the combo that I received seemed a little different than what we talked about in regards to the float setup and brand. Work was completed relatively quickly after arrival, but after work was completed and the technician was preparing to leave, I went down to the basement to find water all over my floor and the piping separated at the check valve connection for one of the pumps. I informed the tech and he came back and reconnected the piping. The following morning, the other sump pump was running as the float was stuck as it was against the inside of the basin wall. I scooted the sump over and the piping disconnected at the check valve just like the other one did. I reconnected the piping and tightened it down with tools instead of by hand as the tech did. The rubber pipe connection coupling to the sump pump was also loose and disconnected when I was tightening the check valve connection. I redid that connection myself and then mounted the discharge piping to the wall since there was a lot of play and movement when the sump operated. I was charged a ridiculous price, and given that price, I expected connections to be tight, piping to be fastened, and better quality equipment. I was busy cleaning up my flooded basement and did not have a lot of time to deal with the sump pumps. If it ever happens again, I will definitely do the work myself and will never call this company for any other work.

Absolutely criminal. A complete ripoff. Called them to snake a drain. They recommended hydra jetting because it looked bad and they thought the snake wouldn't work. If it didn't work I would end up needing the hydra jet and have to pay for both. $800 reduced down to $600. We were on a time constraint so we said okay. Hydra jet didn't work. They said the only next step was to break up the floor to look at the pipes. A MINIMUM of $2500 - $17000. They wouldn't know until they see the pipes. We decided to think about it and called some other plumbers instead. It just didn't feel right. Other plumbers came the next day. For less than $200 they snaked the drain and fixed our issue. These are complete scam artists. This is a franchise, but I read reviews for other franchises of this company and it is more of the same. Always up selling and taking advantage of customers. I'm currently trying to get a refund for this blatant criminal activity. AVOID.

Arrived earlier than scheduled time - that was nice. Chris was very friendly, polite and efficient, and obviously knew his business. Our clogged drain was more trouble than he originally thought, but he persisted and finished the job. Have hired him for more work.

In February of 2021, they snaked my sewer line it was fine for a year. I completely understood that it was only temporary due to the fine tree roots that grew into the line - they knew that. February 9th they did it again. Well, it had to be done again yesterday, March 7th and the sewer line backed up less than one day later, March 8th. I was told that I had a 6 month warranty but that only gave me ONE follow-up cleaning! That is NOT a warranty. Would a car dealer give you one repair over a 6 month warranty?...Fix it once and do it right!

We had a basement sump pump problem. Evan came out the same morning on a snowy day, identified the problem and fixed it quickly! He gave us an estimate for a new sump pump if we needed one in the future. We thought he was knowledgeable, professional, and very nice! Thank you Rooter Man!

They were at my house within a couple of hours. (On a Saturday!) Chris was extremely courteous and knowledgeable and was wearing a mask. He cleared my drain and the cost was more than reasonable. I would highly recommend this company and will use them in the future.

The responsiveness and professionalism of Chris was second to none. He had to try multiple methods to solve our drain issue but was passionate about completing the job. The price was a bit high but I understand that you need to pay for quality work.
