Joe did a great job, along with his staff they were very kind. He made sure he fixed all the damage from the front loader and graded all the dirt. He is also building a rock wall for us, so he has been doing two jobs for us. Would recommend him to my friends

J&A did a great job, They were extremly careful, did not rush, and did the job with very high temperatures in mid June in a full sun driveway. I will definitely recommend him and his crew. They did and amazing job. They also had a very accesible price, I had five other estimates to choose from.

After interviewing and getting cost estimates with all 3 recommended contractors, who were all very professional and friendly, I decided to hire J&A Excavating because their price was the best suited to our budget. The work was just completed this past Monday, October 12th and they did a wonderful job. Throughout the process, Joseph O'Boy and his wife Angie were always available for assistance, to answer questions, to make recommendations and in general, were just a pleasure to deal with. The completed job looks great, they completely cleaned up the debris from the work and were pros from start to finish. I would recommend them to all.

The owner was nice but the quality and detail of the job were lacking. When I compare my driveway to my neighbors paving job (done by a different contractor at the same time) I realize just how bad my driveway looks; i.e. footprints are visible, roller marks and the asphalt is already coming up in one area. Topsoil should have been laid down to replace a driveway turnaround but that never happened. Instead I had to screen the excavated area for the rocks and stones that were left over from the job and laid bagged topsoil from HD. Very disappointed with the quality.

Everything seems good, still waiting for him to finish putting down the topsoil to replant grass but the major part of the job was done as expected
