I personally hired them for multiple projects and they were ok but not great. They lied multiple times about Coming back to Finish the project after they chipped the counter they installed and still waiting for 4 months. He continues to say in texts that he will come back and fix that along with the faucet he installed crooked and still nothing!!!! It's terrible and you should not Support this business on Angi

Very Bad Experience with this Company! On July 21st, 2020 I hired one of the contractors from J.A.J Contracting LLC (Rob). VERY UNHAPPY! Their employee Rob insisted on Cash which I gave him and I asked for a receipt which I have. It was for a basic microwave install above my stove, line for the microwave with a basic shelf above the microwave. Rob from this company J.A.J Contracting LLC showed up on July 22nd and started the job. Rob showed up with another guy with him which I was not prior informed and made me uncomfortable due to the fact of who is insured here? Its been 18 days as of August 7th. Rob still has not finished the job or even showed up. When I texted him, questioning when he is coming back he tells me he will let me know. We would make a date and time on the phone but then he says something came up he has to go up north jersey instead (I have his texts regarding this statement) or another time it was. I have emergency projects which are more important or I have a tree issue was another excuse. When I ask him again when is he coming, he says he will let me know (I have these texts regarding these statement). Rob was supposed to come Friday August 7th at 11:00. I texted Rob to confirm today and he said and I quote ;Not sure time yet will let you no in am. What kind of answer is that? At one point, I asked him can I still use my kitchen and he told me no - not for 4 weeks (I have his texts regarding this statement) . He laughed and thought that was funny. Then he said he was kidding. I am very upset I even decided to use your company J.A.J Contracting LLC. Way too much stress! I have used Home Advisor in the past which I was very happy with their recommendations /services. But this time it has been an awful nightmare, crazy unnecessary STRESS and extremely time consuming. Still this project has not been completed as of August 11th. I got ripped off for close to $400.00. I paid him cash! I called Home Advisor and filed a complaint / order number:#1769-761-96 I texted Rob (from J.A.J Contracting LLC) again Friday morning August 7th. Most of the time we have communicated by texting. I told him I want half my money back from the $363.00 cash I gave him. They did put a wire in the wall. I have a receipt from him showing I gave him cash for $363.00. He refused. He told me he will not be coming back to finish the job and he will drop off the cabinet that HE CANT use anyway which was his ideal. I had asked for a shelf. I will need to get someone else to do the job. I have this big microwave box in my living room which I had to go pick up July 24th. At first, he said he would pick up and then he reneged. The last I hear from JAJ Contracting employee Rob was on August 7th in the morning he texted. He said he was not coming back to finish the job, I was not getting my money back, and he would drop the cabinet (which I didnt really want) and to stop harassing him. Harassing Him??? I wrote him one message in the morning! Also, it is now Tuesday, August 11th - no cabinet has been dropped off. Whoever reads this, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ! - LOOK FOR ANOTHER COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF!
