They went out of their way to be sure I was satisfied. Hal went above expectations. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves too! I do not ever find that. David, who oversaw the project, was friendly and helpful. I would definitely hire them again.

Very professional and detailed. If you're looking for a company that takes pride in the work they do then this is who you want. My deck looks fabulous! I don't need to look any further for future paint jobs for my home.

This is not your typical they did a great job review. This is the atypical: an issue arose after the job, and a company actually did the right thing and made it right review. The work that I had performed by J&H was of great quality and looks beautiful, but there was an issue with my front door paint that caused bubbling a few weeks after the job was completed. I approached Hal with the hesitant expectation that perhaps they could do something for me. After dealing with so many contractors that are happy to take your money, but do not stand by their work, I had less than high hopes. I am SO happy to report that Hal and Joey not only do a great job, but if there is a mistake, they have the integrity and pride in their work to come back and correct the problem until you are satisfied. It is truly rare to find people with such integrity in these times, and I consider myself fortunate to have stumbled upon them. Hal, Joey, and Curtis spent a combined 40 man-hours or so, stripping, priming, and repainting my front door, without a complaint. Quite the opposite. It seemed a point of pride for them to ensure that I was satisfied with their service, which I completely am. I will be recommending them to all of my friends, and they have my business for life. Give them a shot and you will not be disappointed, I assure you.

Joey and Hal and their crews are extremely professional and truly a pleasure to work with. They came out and inspected the job, gave ideas and quoted us real fast and explained every detail. During the job the patched hole and performed any minor repairs needed, they took time to prep the job and attend to every detail as if they were doing their own house. Crew was open to questions and thoughts during the job and are very customer focused. No payment up front, was not required to pay any deposit or fees until I was 100% happy with the job! and of course I was! Too bad Home Advisor does not have more stars to give them!

Truly Five Stars. An expert painting with a full crew (5-6 painters), easy and amenable Customer Service, and a through cleanup. Hal (one of the owners) is great to work with in developing the estimate. On the first day they "move in" and move furniture away from walls and cover it in plastic, cabinets that cannot be moved and the floors are also sealed snd covered. Everything on counter tops or on walls are gathered and put in out of way places. If you're getting a kitchen painted do not expect to be able to cook for 1 or 2 days (order a pizza). If painting a bedroom, plan on using the guest bedroom for 1 or 2 nights (the crew had cleared the bed so it was usable but there was furniture and other items around the bed. The crew worked fast to minimize disruptions. At the end everything was magically back in their correct locations. They did a good cleanup.

I highly recommend J&H Painters for your exterior painting project. Our 3-story house was a handful! The painting team did a fabulous job, climbing high, and transforming a dull, lack-luster structure into the nicest looking house on the street. If we could give them over 5 stars we would. We were impressed from the estimate to the completion- the inspection for the estimate of work to be done was in depth which we appreciated. Even though the job was not a big job the guys made us feel that this job was just as important and everyone was extremely professional and friendly. When we had questions we were given detailed answers and alternative solutions if possible. The guys finished the job much sooner than we expected and did a fabulous job. We would definitely use J and H again. We are recommending them to the HOA as well. Great job guys! Thank you for the great work!

I contacted J & H Painting & Remodeling not only to paint my house, but also repair some of the siding that was visibly rotting. Mr Hal was very knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions and concerns regarding the matter. The crew finished the job in a few days and my home looks like brand new. I will not only recommend this Company, but will call them for future projects.

Joey and Hal did a great job of fixing the doors that didn't hang properly. They are great communicators and did everything we needed to get our house ready for sale - plus, they both have a terrific sense of humor. Who wouldn't want someone who does a great job AND enjoys what they're doing? Joey went above and beyond the requested work...would hire these two again in a heartbeat!
