A very horrible experience. The project was set up in April and was told it would be a few weeks once we committed- 2 months later they showed up and the job was rushed. They recommended color concrete border and stairs (to get more money out of us), but instead just painted color onto the edges instead of mixing it into the actual concrete. This caused a very horrible look. They admitted it wasn t quality and came back to fix it once and then told me to let it cure for a while. We paid 3 thousand dollars and never heard from them again. it s never going to be perfec with concrete is what we were told by this company after the job was done the first time. That raised red flags. I have photos of the job and now we have to pay another company to fix it. Very unprofessional- would not commit once we paid deposit and kept pushing the job. I figured it would be worth the wait and now we are embarrassed when people come to our new patio as the stairs and border look 10-15 years old. Do not get any color concrete fromcrhis company. Faded and worn after just a month. Maybe my job wasn t expensive enough for them to do quality work or priorities, but It was like pulling teeth to get it done, and now we are stuck with a very poor quality job for 3k. Home advisor recommended them first so we thought it would be quality. We were wrong. Stay away. Every time I walk onto my patio I am disappointed.

Easy to work with and they did a nice job. Reasonable in cost, and the work was performed was good. They were able to fit us in sooner than expected which was nice. We will be using them again for our patio.

I dealt with "Rob", he called me within 20 minutes of my quote request on home advisor, he was personable and knowledgeable, and was on the project site the following morning. His price for the original project was less than 2/3 of another contractor, he also had some suggestions for other needed work. The end result was I wound up with almost 2x mu original project for $200 more than the first quoted price on the original project. When it came time to start the project, the crew was prompt, and went right to work. Prepping and removing the old material from the area, then laying down the base material according to city requirements and covering it overnight. The following morning they finalized the prep work, and poured the sidewalks. The end result was very well executed. The finish was great, and the slab flatness and match to existing sidewalk was great. I will be using J&R in the future for other projects. WELL DONE!!

Ron, who did the finishing touches on my siding after deck was removed also addressed the repair and replacement of a door sill and weather stripping on the bottom that door. Even though my patio looks beautiful, I think that was my favorite part of the job. He went over and above his call of duty! Rob and Ron are welcome here anytime I need cement work!

professional completed project by a professional team

Had a new patio installed, and a walkway onto the patio. Very professional job, looks very good. Took about 1 week for everything to get done and Rob stayed in touch with us throughout the process. Very happy with the work we received.

The stars aligned on this project. Went on Homeadvisor.com and found J&R. Rob came out the same day(Tuesday) and sent me and email estimate with pictures of his work/ideas we discussed. I called Rob on Wednesday morning to schedule the work. Believe it or not, they had a cancellation for that afternoon and could start that day. Wow, that never happens. Well, now it's Sunday and our concrete patio is complete!!! We had a concrete patio poured over a previous patio, the new one has colored edging and 2 diamond patterns centered in the concrete. After removing the framing, Rob wasn't happy the outside edge wasn't colored so he sent a guy on Saturday to make it right. His employees are friendly and want to make the customer happy and do a professional job. Based on price, quality and attentiveness I would absolutely hire J&R again!!!

They came out to take a look at the patio the same day they contacted me. Rob sent me a quote and not only did they have a very competitive price but addressed other issues at my rental as well. Customer service was excellent. He sent me pictures of the work being done as well as the finished product. I would highly recommend them!
