Hired JB (John Streets) to install a stamped concrete patio for a new build application. John sent photo's of accomplished work that looked professional, which I'm in doubt after seeing his completed work for us. John comes across as polite and assuring. He allowed me to use his backhoe to remove stumps in the back yard. However, I have to report the severe misgivings from this contractor. His stamped concrete turned out as "stomped" concrete. The stampings he used were felt and not supported for even load distribution resulting in mulitple foot marks covering 1/2 the area that hold rain water and very displeasing and irregular surface texture, which was not the look we expected from stamped concrete. I'll have to find someone to fix the areas in the spring or remove sections of his concrete in order to make this patio look right. In addition, John asked for payments before the job was complete, used my personal power washer and left the area unfinished along with 3 large cement piles that I'll have to hire someone else to remove. I've tried about 20 times to contact John and ask him to get the remaining scrap concrete piles, but he continues to make excuses and avoids my calls. It eludes me how a contractor can leave his pile of concrete scrap for the customer to deal with, when he has the equipment and facility to remove it.

I hired John for a foundation drainage system and paid him in full, The contractor has been contacted about the work that they needed to complete. They did not tie in all of the downspouts to the drainage system they put in. They only tied in half. The contractor said they would comeback to complete the work, but it has not been done. They were hired in July and it is now December

J & B replaced our garage floor and most of our driveway. They gave a fair estimate stuck to it and completed the job quickly even tho they had other bigger projects waiting. John is returning soon to followup on one small concern. I would/will call upon them again for some drainage work next spring. Lew and Teresa Strohm Roaming Shores Ohio

I needed foundation repair. John was very professional and prompt on showing up to give an estimate. He was also honest and gave his opinion on what repairs did not need to be done right away and could wait. They actually started earlier than originally quoted and did not go over the dollar amount of the estimate. I will definitely hire him again in the future.

Work was good.crew was good,but horrible on clean up and asked for receipt.It's been 3 months and still don't have! Very unprofessional! A pile of overflow cement in treelawn !He never came back!Wouldn't return numerous calls!So we had to pay someone else to do what we paid him to do! Even though his initial work was good we would not recommend him!

John was very professional, very upfront about his schedule, and did a beautiful job.

These guys got the job done right and got it done fast. Best sidewalk in Ashtabula , Very happy with the job they did. I live at 5305 Fort Ave in Ashtabula. you can drive by and see for yourself. Super friendly and very helpful .Thank you John Streets.
