Said it work will take 3 weeks took 3 months. Terrible customer service. Did not want to work and only wanted our money.

In the beginning they were gun-ho with what would take place and never came through. The main thing they were concerned with money. Jay did not purchase premium material but purchased substandard material. The broke things in the home, left my home un-secure, left trash all over the yard. They did not communicate or show as agree about or communicate why no show. I would not recommend them. Truly a rip off

Great group and will use them again. Open to communication about choices. If you have an issue, they always responded promptly to my concerns. Sometimes there were some confusion about choices made, for example the faucets or medicine cabinet. But they were very good listening and making corrections as needed. Their suggested time line would have been met, except that I have a busy scheduled and I was not always available to them. I only have one full bath and they worked with me to reduce the time I was without a shower. For that, I was very grateful. Chuck and his team were very patient with me as I was determined about my selections and what I wanted. They listened and made suggestions. By mixing our ideas, and some compromising on both ends, the end product was a really beautiful bathroom at an affordable price. They're great offering suggestions. For example, for the wall they showed several swatches to choose from that worked great in the bathroom. I thought white walls would do, but they came with a soft ivory with some earthy undertones that was just perfect. Their tile person, Antonio, was great, creative, and provided great options. He clearly loves doing tiles and it shows. It has been nine months since the project was complete. The compliments haven't stopped and I still love, absolutely love, how beautiful my bathroom looks and how well it works. Look forward to when I'm ready to do the kitchen and work with them again. Thank you.

Kitchen Remodel
Home improvement project not completed. The kitchen addition is exposed to the elements with only Tyvek. It has been 1 yr. Project abandoned work began on our kitchen addition in May/June 2018. Things were going relatively well with the exception of a bait and switch maneuver with the kitchen cabinets. Dan Collins, the salesman, told us to choose affordable Wolf cabinets with an allowance of $5000. We did so, however, once we chose the cabinets the price came to $10,000 yet nothing changed in the scope of the project to support a 10k price tag. Therefore we felt the salesman low balled the price in an effort to entice us to sign the contract. I complained and the owner wife, Jennifer, and Debbie, the money lady as she put it, said they would work with us on adjusting the price, but we never received anything in writing to that effect. At this time the kitchen is functional but incomplete. Track lighting was never installed, exterior deck lighting not installed, exterior electrical outlets never installed, and deck railings are not secure and are wobbly which poses a safety hazard. What is even more egregious is the kitchen exterior has been exposed to the elements for over 11 months with only Tyvek. The owner, Jay Rhodes, said he was having financial difficulties and if we purchase the siding out of our own funds, he would send a crew to install. That was 3 months ago (April 2019) and the siding is still sitting on our driveway.I have called, texted, left voicemails and to no avail. When on the rare occasion that they respond, I am told their working on it I have begged and pleaded and yet no action has been taken. We paid on-time whenever a draw was due. We are pleasant, non combative customers and do not know why we are being treated with such disregard. Chuck Brooks who is the project manager has also lied to us on several occasions about someone coming out to finish. Jay told me himself that he is working on other projects, and does not have the money to send over anyone to finish our job. Huh? If revenue is coming in from other projects why are we being told they have no money? A reputable company finishes old projects before starting new ones. The work that has to be completed should not take more than 3 days. That is all. But they refuse to finish it. Stay away from this company.

They will run away with your money and abandon your project in the middle ripping you apart. Their accreditation with Better Business Bureau have been revoked on 9/9/19 due to customers complaints. Go to their website and check it out. Be aware that legal proceedings have begun for these liars. If anyone innocent have given them money, do not fall prey like us. Do not give any more money to them. They will run away. They become very sweet when they have to get the contract from you but once they have it, they will make your life so bad asking more and more money. My house is a mess, deck unfinished, room just a structure off wood since last 7 months. They will soon loose license to practice.

Jay of JBR Remodeling was very good to work with. He gave me a good budget that kept me aware of what I was spending. I was comfortable with every craftsperson he sent to me house. Which was very important to me. I was informed by text of who would be at my house and when. Workers were here from May to August, every week. Only twice the assigned worker couldn't come to my home. Jay and his office immediately informed me. The job was finished on time and I am very happy with the work. My neighbors and friends were very impressed at the amount of work that was done every week. Debris was collected regularly and the site was kept neat. Jay did not collect the final payment until after we did the punch list and the walk though together. This was a big remodel. Because it was such a good experience, I am going to use JBR Remodeling again. The company also remodeled my first floor bathroom and living room, dining room, and kitchen floors. I am doing separate reviews for those jobs, so you may see some of this repeated. I am a human being and not a robot!

Wonderful job! The workers we were courteous, professional and cleaned up after themselves each day. The owner was fantastic and was willing to work with us to give us exactly what we wanted even when it meant modifying something already finished! I highly recommend this company!

Jay, finish my job. Now! Finish my job and I will remove this review. These guys are nice and charming, and sound super sincere, but like the other recent reviews they will take the money and abandon your project. We are screwed. It has been sand and dirt in the house for 5 months. Finish my job. Now!

If you see these folks, RUN! Your contracting nightmares will come true if you use JBR. We contracted JBR to do a remodel in our master bathroom. The project started September 13, 2018. The sales rep said the work would take 3 weeks. Cost was quoted at $24,000. Chuck, JBR s contracting supervisor, told us since the bathroom was so large it would take at least double that time. No problem, understandable. Work went on daily until Thanksgiving week. I have to say the contractors were very good and did show up every day. The painter and the tile guy, Jose, were excellent. Different story for Chuck. Nice guy. Bad at communication. We were in the dark most of the project, only finding out the next step from the hired contractors, not Chuck. We made one of the final payments right before Thanksgiving to Chuck, the one thing he did show up for. Then everything came to an abrupt stop. Chuck walked out with our check for $2000 and we were pretty much forgotten. No one showed up from that day until February. Evidently, they had some financial difficulties. We had already paid over 95% of the quote by Thanksgiving and had a terrible time getting any response from them. Numerous texts/phone calls to them were either never answered, or we heard an occasional, *Work with us here, we are trying to get your job completed.* I had to hound them just to get a reply. Frustrated, we went out and purchased mirrors, faucets, toilets, lighting, showerheads on our own hoping to help them in their financial difficulties. Chuck had the glass contractor come out and install the shower glass on February 5, 2019, which we had to pay for, to the tune of over $1500, directly to the glass contractor. And the glass shower door/insert was not cut to match the contour of the walls, but by this time we just wanted to be able to use the shower. Poor communication between Chuck and manufacturer is no doubt to blame. Perhaps if Chuck showed up more, he would have had a handle on this. Finally fed up, I contacted the BBB on Feb 19, 2019 and filed a complaint. I was then contacted within the hour by JBR. JBR came back to the house shortly after, but only for 2 days, to install two vanities that had been sitting in the garage (which I had to pay for, including delivery, directly to the manufacturer, another $1300). And just long enough for me to close the BBB complaint. Then we were back to the ignoring of our text messages, and *please work with us we are trying to get your job completed.* Early March we were able to pick out the counter tops. On March 20, 2019 we were contacted by that manufacturer to inform us we had to pay $2300 for the quartz countertops. Keep in mind all these *extra* purchases were supposedly covered in the initial $24,000 quote. The install was finally completed April 5, 2019. I have all of this documented, to include receipts and text messages and video. 7 months for a bathroom redo is ridiculous. Keep in mind while all this is happening, JBR is getting top referrals on their website. Go figure. No, just go, RUN AWAY.

They kept their word about everything they said they would do. They were timely, efficient, and kept the house very clean. The most important thing to me was that they kept the schedule they guaranteed. I was happy with who they sent out and it was a nice crew. They did high quality work and didn't cut any corners.

This is a company that does not care about craftsmanship or quality of their work. They do not care about the customer. No one communicates any truth. I asked for a schedule and deadline and they told me it was impossible to give me one because they never knew what needed to be done the next day. I told them that was why they had a schedule and they just ignored it. I've been sleeping on an air mattress for 10 weeks and they don't care. My bedroom and master bath are completely unusable. They do not clean up after themselves After 2 weeks of silence they came out to go over the bathroom with me and I felt bullied. When another team from their company came out, the tile guy said it all needed to be ripped out. They took a sample of the tile and told me they were going to go look at more tile to replace it.Then I get a nasty email from their sales guy saying they won't be coming back until they have everything in writing before going forward. No apology that they are going to make this right. Now they want me to pay again for the horrible job they did. I never got a phone call from anyone regarding if I was satisfied with how the job was going, all I got were excuses.
Response from JBR Remodeling
"Mrs Anne. We are sorry you feel this way. Schedules can vary depending on materials ordered, how long each area of the job takes, etc. We are concerned about this review because we are still in your home working and addressing any issues you have"
