J Barr Drywall Systems was by far the most professional contractor that I have done business with. The service was exceptional, the entire crew was top knotch. It has been a longtime since I have received such great service from a contractor. Thanks.

Mr. Barr was prompt about giving an estimate; however, once hired they were not prompt but slow and messy. They never arrived when they scheduled and did not show up for over a week. They did not keep appointments and did not call to re-schedule missed appointments. A dry wall project that should have taken 4 days required over 16 days before the workers were removed from the project. When invited to bid, Mr. Barr was advised that being as clean and tidy as possible was essential. Mr. Barr was advised that the workers were expected to protect the floors and leave a clean space when they finished each day. This did not happen. Instead, the workers removed the protective plastic from a new wood floor and tracked outdoor red clay mud on it. They did not clean up after themselves. They left drywall mud and dust everywhere, did not cover the floors with protective plastic or drop cloths even when given the plastic and cloths and requested to do so. They claimed they did not need them. They did. Instead, the workers used and destroyed an expensive piece of bead board as a place to set their buckets and mix drywall mud. I would never hire these workers again nor would I recommend them.
