The work was ok but they quoted a return of the $49 truck charge. They say they will do it but I now on my 6th phone call to request it!! The last time they told me it was credited back to my card on April 1? not credit and I?m tired of being an April fools joke? do not trust these guys!!

Way overpriced. Paid 720 to replace a pvc pipe from slop sink to the wall. The technician was very friendly and explained to me that it was the minimum charge that he was able to do. He opened that larger jobs at the company Were actually more economical, but smaller projects were high. I won't be using them for any larger projects Because of the price of the smaller project, which is ironic.

J Blanton Plumbing is absolutely fantastic! Scott B was our plumber and he was professional, friendly, and it was in an out of the house in an hour. We couldn't be happier with the service. Also, I love that they support shelter dogs with their Unclogs campaign. Highly recommend J Blanton to anyone looking for a good plumber.

Had a main sewer line backup and called J. Blanton. The tech showed up on time, explained everything upfront, and cleared the clog quickly. He even did a camera inspection afterward so I could see the condition of the pipe myself. No upsells, no surprises, just solid, professional work. Drains have been running perfectly since. Highly recommend!

Drain Line Breakage Camera Locate
I can?t say enough good things about this company. My sewer line was completely clogged, and it was starting to back up into the house ? stressful doesn?t even begin to cover it. I called them and they got someone out quickly. The plumber showed up right on time, was super friendly, and explained everything in a way I could actually understand. He worked fast, cleared the clog, and even double-checked the line to make sure it wouldn?t happen again anytime soon. What really stood out was how respectful he was of my home ? no mess left behind. The price was fair, and honestly, the peace of mind was worth every penny. If you?re dealing with a nasty sewer backup, these are the people you want to call

I had J. Blanton come to my home for a main sewer line clear, and I am very satisfied with the service. We were dealing with slow drains and a backup in the basement, so I was worried it was going to turn into a huge and expensive issue. The tech arrived on time, was very professional, and explained everything before starting. After clearing the main line, they performed a free sewer camera inspection, which I really appreciated. It gave me peace of mind being able to actually see the condition of the pipe and confirm there were no cracks or major root intrusions causing long-term problems. They walked me through the footage, answered all my questions, and didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary, which I appreciate! I definitely recommend J. Blanton Plumbing, especially for the thorough camera inspection included with!

Kyle Richard did an amazing job with my sewer inspection from start to finish. He arrived on time, explained what he was going to do, and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. What I appreciated most was how thorough he was—after the inspection, he took the time to show me the video footage of my sewer and clearly walked me through what he was seeing. He answered my questions without rushing and made sure I understood everything before wrapping up. On top of that, Kyle was genuinely friendly and professional the entire visit. He was great with my wife and even took a moment to be kind and patient with my dog, which definitely didn’t go unnoticed. It’s not often you find someone who does quality work and also treats your home and family with respect. If you need a sewer inspection, I’d absolutely recommend Kyle Richard—excellent service all around.

DON'T CALL J. BLANTON PLUMBING
I was a customer for almost a year. I joined the NO DRIP CLUB waste of time and money. J. Blanton canceled 3 appointments on me in 5 days no VIP treatment there. Be aware of there fake escalated projects because management won't call you back. Owner is probably not even a plumber seems to be a business owner. Not to good at running a business. Thanks for wasting my time and money. I was fooled, don't be fooled too.

Excellent customer service and communication from the office. Fast response time to schedule the estimate. The technician was on time for the appointment. Ben was friendly and considerate. My regular plumber, that is great, Stephen's Plumb & Heat was busy so I tried Blanton and it really cost me. I needed several jobs - listed below with the Blanton quote. Replace toilet fill valve/flapper $624. Replace a garbage disposal $688.50. That's labor only as I had already purchased the new device. Replace a leaky Delta faucet cartridge $810. Clear a bath sink drain $350. Rod a tub drain $450. Grand total $2887.75!
I declined and the Blanton plumber immediately dropped the price to $250 per drain. Still high but I chose to have lines rodded as he was already there. He started the plumbing work around 9:35am. He opens the sink pop-up and finds paper in the pop-up stopping the water and removes it. No rodding necessary. He does have to rod the tub. Both jobs are complete and I sign for payment 21 minutes later at 9:56am. He charged me $500.
I realized the billing error, that I was charged for 2 roddings. I called the company to no avail. Invoices below.

My tech, Anthony C, installed a new water heater at the house in the afternoon. When he realized he was shorted some needed parts/materials for the job, he went to a local big-box store to purchase what he needed to finish the job and complete the service. Anthony was courteous and answered all my questions during the service call. A true professional.

PLEASE READ - I have been a client of J Blanton for years and had a great experience between 2014-2020. I have used their services multiple times since then and the plumbers have been new each time, have been generally nice, but very over-priced and recently have not been able to fix the problems, have not completed the services they have been contracted for, no-call no-showed and so many other small and big issues. I have been trying to solve this with their managers, but nobody calls me back or responds to my contact. The dispatch center is not local and most of the folks I have been able to talk to seem to be in some call center. I would NOT recommend calling J Blanton!

They went into some details as to what work would need to be done. Along the way they pointed out that my water intake valve was old that they often leak and that I should have a new more modern valve installed. I agreed to having a new valve installed along with a pan at the bottom of the heater and revised water drainage. Since my old water intake valve might leak I told them that I would arrange to have the water shut off for the job. My building is an older renovated industrial building and at the time of the renovation individual water shutoff valve was not installed in each individual unity so water shutoff required shutting the water to the entire building and would need to be arranged at least 24 hours in advance. Then for some reason one of the workers started to fiddle with that old water intake valve after telling me that these often leak. And sure enough it started to leak. The workers tried to stop the leak to no avail so they ended up shutting off the valve. They then notified their project manager to inform him of the situation and then returned to inform me that the manager would be in touch with me as to what to do next. All of this took place in the mid-afternoon around 130/2PM. The manager did not get in touch with me until after 5PM and it was not a phone call but by text msg. His text msg basically repeated that these old valves leak when they are tinkered with and that his guys did me a favor by shutting off the valve to "buy" me some time. Then he went on in his text msg that the reason why I am so upset is that I didn't like the high estimate I got for the project. ( I have saved all those text msgs). That was it, no offer to send a guy over to fix the valve. So I had to contact another plumber and since it was after 5PM I could not arrange for the building water shutoff for the repair for today; the work will not be done until tomorrow morning January 16th, two days later, two days without hot water and not enough water pressure to even take a shower.
