Our roof started leaking, with water coming into the kitchen through a light fixture. I contacted three different roofing companies, and the only one willing to come out on short notice was Brandon at JCB. Our asphalt shingles were already 19 years old, and I knew it would not be long before the insurance company required us to replace the roof. Brandon explained that spending money on a temporary repair probably did not make sense since I was already planning to replace the roof in the near future. Instead, he temporarily covered the areas believed to be leaking to prevent further interior damage and immediately went to work preparing quotes for a complete roof replacement. We were given three options: another asphalt shingle roof, a metal roof with exposed fasteners that would require periodic maintenance, or a vertical seam metal roof. The vertical seam roof was the most expensive option, but it also offered the advantage of requiring very little maintenance and was something I should never have to replace again in my lifetime. We decided that the additional cost was worth it and chose the higher-quality vertical seam metal roof. From the time I first called Brandon until the new roof was completely installed was only about two weeks. Brandon handled the permits, obtained the materials, and got the job underway quickly. We are extremely happy with the finished roof. The new metal roof completely transformed the appearance of our house and makes it look brand new. Based on our experience, I would recommend Brandon and JCB over the larger roofing companies any day. The personal service, responsiveness, and quality of the finished work made a difficult situation much easier to deal with.
