Major Renovation Multiple Room Service
Save yourself a true headache. I hired Jci to do a complete remodel back in October. At 1st things went well. Then they stopped showing up to work. They were paid in advance for countertops and and bathroom cabinets. I received junk cabinets and the completely wrong cabinets in 1bathroom and kitchen. Below I will show pictures of the countertops. I feel like they ran out of money and installed what ever they wanted. I can provide text conversations to prove this is factual

I have a hard time understanding people like yourself, I invited you in to meet my family, dinners, lunches made friends so I thought. Until the end when I met the wolf in sheep's clothing. Honestly people have no idea what you are really like we worked very hard for you even showing up on a Sunday to work just so the job could be finished when your wife arrived. And to find out you where planning all along to turn on us. And junk cabinets? Please sir what we provided in your bathroom was far superior to other cabinets you over paid for. This is a strange moment in my life that I think only God could assist in stopping this friendship, your really not a good person Alan. And adding these nice little messages does not effect new customers if that's what your going for. People can also read between the lines to see when someone is simply full of themselves. I don't care what you do just please pay us the balance of what you owe us. The job is complete and you owe us a significant amount of money. You've turned out to be a selfish monster that has ill intentions, people like myself with small businesses need the dollars they earn. And all you want to do is steal from small companies like myself. This is not the end."

The provider did demolition work over a month before receiving a permit. During this time rainy season started. Because of this we had significant leaks. After several attempts they finally did a tarp job that stopped the leaks. Unfortunately they nailed directly through the shingles on my 5 year old roof to secure the tarp. This caused $8100 worth of damage. That's not counting what it's going to take to repair the damage from leaks, including drywall, painting and insulation that was removed. Also during demolition their employee Billy ripped one of my windows screens. Also, the gutter they install leaked. I notified them but didn't get a response. I paid another company $280 to replace the gutter. The provider also tried to put a lien on my property for final payment before they had completed all inspections. This was contested and they failed to respond so their claim is extinguished. Regarding the damage done my from the tarping, Jason the owner responded that they repaired the issues. The only repair done was to tar over the nails left in my 5 year old roof.

"I'm sorry for the way you feel. As you know we took this job over from another contractor, we came in after a storm and tarped your roof using tarps and bricks to hold them in place. Literally just after we signed to redo a small patio. You've been holding invoices for months now for something we are not responsible for. We had the city out it has been inspected and passed inspection. Please remove this post as it is not truthful and only indicates to us more and more that you simply do not want to pay your invoices."

Commercial Addition to Existing Structure Build
I am limited to how long this post can be, please see JCI Home Services LLC's Google Maps review page for a full accounting of our experience. Here is a shorter summary. My name is James Farwell, I am the Head of School at Montessori School of Fort Myers since 2013. On August 9, 2024 our school signed a proposal with Jason Cottrell, the owner of JCI Home Services LLC for $49,708.84 to do some renovations work on our playground. As of January 30, 2025 we are pursuing litigation against him for holding our deposit and not completing the work in the contract. Jason admitted full responsibility and apologized to me but he will not return our deposit.

they look over a shower project that was abandoned by a contractor . transition was smooth with no disappointments .technicians were asked to perform off the cuff and the all stepped up and completed their part with the available materials to provide the best outcome .we are very pleased with the job

I was having so many issues with my ins company so I called Jason and he was happy to help by dealing w my agent. Finally the job was approved by ins company. I have all new flooring, and my bathroom was remodeled. I love it so much and can't thank Jason enough.

Kitchen - Remodel
JCI reviewed the job; a studio condo with 1 bath needing cabinets, tub to walk-in shower conversion and unit flooring. Quoted and contracted in September 2022. It is March 2024, not done. Multiple staff, called project manager, have rotated, work is subcontracted out. JCI had full permit responsibility, yet they were shutdown by Estero Beach and Tennis Association (Fort Myers Beach) for no permit, and expired insurance in July 2023, and they kept it a secret. In August they requested a progress payment. I flew to Florida, to check progress and found HOA Work Stop notice on door. JCI eagerly wanted to discuss with happy talk, but from September through December 2023, they obtained no plumbing permit. Then they decide to get one via a sub... then in early January 2024, their sub plumber removes himself from permit. More happy talk from JCI, blaming FMB, blaming EBT, and plumber along the way. 2nd plumber lined up, gone, 3rd plumber announced today... Dont expect ownership or results from JCI.
