Javier was going to drop a truck load of wood chips in our driveway, free of charge. The expectation was that there would be mostly wood chips, with some other yard byproduct here and there. They dumped a load that was almost fully consistent of leaves, branch trimmings, and small roots, with around 10% of usable wood chips at best. Multiple arborists told us that this is unusable, straight trash. We would have to pay our own money to get rid of it. We contacted Javier to understand the issue, and he accused us of having the wrong expectations and not understanding the service. We asked him if they would come pick it up, and then he went radio silence. The least he could have done was to say ?no?, but he simply ghosted us. You can see in most of his 1 star reviews that, the moment there is any issue, he will stop replying using any excuse. You better not have any problem with his services, or you will be on your own.

Very fair priced, and arrived on time, and cleaned up after themselves.

We had a sizable job involving thinning and deadwood removal from a 100 ft Douglas Fir and a 75 ft. Redwood both situated very close to our house, removal of a large Acacia tree including the stump, and removing a branch from a Walnut tree threatening our shed. JC Tree Experts' bid was thorough and well-priced (we got one other bid from an equally reputable company). They did an awesome job. Very professional, very thorough, very nice cleanup of the massive piles of debris created by the job. We're blown away by how beautiful the Douglas Fir looks now that it's thinned out, and the neighbors have complimented us on how it looks. It's the best it's looked in the 30 years we lived in our home. They even removed a second old stump in the backyard without charging us. I was impressed with how smoothly the job went: tree work is noisy but much of the time they were only working with hand saws, and there was minimal yelling and commotion throughout the 5 hours that 4-5 guys worked in the trees and on the ground. I found Javier Castaneda, the owner, to be a good communicator, highly responsive, and pleasant to deal with. I definitely recommend them and will use them the next time we need tree work.

On time, nice clean up, very friendly and did a perfect job trimming my favorite tree. Went above and beyond making sure my trees would grow out well. Looking forward to seeing them this winter for my orange and to touch up all my new trees.

The owner Javier was quick to respond to phone call and text message. He was very detail with quotes. When the job was finish everything was clean. Highly recommend.

Javier & his crew are great to work with. We've used them a few times for maintenance/trimming, stump removal, and most recently to remove an old tree that was deemed unsafe due to termite infestation. We have been so happy with their work that we have referred them to a few neighbors who have also used their services. Highly recommend!

I hired JC to trim 4 extremely large trees that probably haven't been trimmed in 15+ yrs. They are professional crew and fully licensed and bonded. Crew arrived on time as promised and cleaned up the debris. They are very cost competitive with other companies that offer similar services and can haul away the waste. Other companies will charge extra for removal of debris if they don't have a wood chipper. The trees look great and they know how to safely properly trim a tree. I would recommend them to other and will use JC again for my needs.

They are a professional, licensed, company and they do beautiful work in the trees. Their quotes include details and pictures so you can speak to each item. They thoroughly clean up afterward. They re respectful in their communications and wonderfully pleasant to deal with.

When a change in the schedule needed to be made, I was kept informed. The job was done in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to use JC Tree Experts again and recommend them to others.
