I hired JD Contracting to refurbish my deck due to the great reviews on Home Advisor/Angi’s. They totally lived up to their reputation. They removed all my deck boards and lumber posts and railing which were rotting away. The boards were replaced with Trex and the posts and railings with vinyl. John T. The owner and operator was here 90% of the time while his crew was doing the job. He ensured quality of the work. He is a man that prides himself on the quality of his work and it definitely shows in the end product. I appreciated his approach to the project. He first gets an understanding of what you want and then provides suggestions to make it even better. Through the course of the project he explained why he had to do certain things and how he was keeping within the guidelines of the current code. I knew and exactly what I was paying for and it was well with it. Friends, neighbors and coworkers have had nothing but compliments on how splendid the refurbished deck looks. More importantly my family loves it. We spend our late afternoons and evenings out on the deck now and enjoy the view. I should have hired John sooner so I could have enjoyed a summer bbq season in the new deck. JD Contracting Services we’re affordable and worth the price. John and his crew do take their time (it took them a month to complete the project) but it was worth the wait. I would gladly hire JD Contracting again and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to build or refurbish a deck. I have already recommended John/JD Contracting to my friends and neighbors. John and his crew were polite, professional and their work is top notch.

My wife and I needed a professional who could build a gate for our deck due to our home insurance requirements. John and Andre were able to get the project done by the due date we requested. They were both very professional and the work was fantastic. We would highly recommend John and his assistant Andre for any home improvement project. JD Contracting did an EXCELLENT job redoing our bathroom floors. They cut the tile perfectly and laid everything out while explaining to me what they were doing every step of the way so I didn't worry about anything. Its like an entirely new space now thanks to their efforts. I will recommend JD Contracting to all of my family and friends. John and his assistant Paul did a beautiful job on our deck. He helped us with selecting the best materials for our needs, and when there was a problem with some defective boards he worked tirelessly with the manufacturer until the issue was resolved, keeping us informed of what was happening at every step. Top marks for reliability too.

John is an absolute perfectionist who does beautiful work. He built me a strong sturdy deck with railings that he cut and built himself. No pre-made products are used. He returns phone calls and messages promptly. Very reliable...doesn't stop until the job is complete.

JD is a great company. John is very knowledgeable and made sure that I understood all aspects of the project before work had begun. He was prompt in arrival each day of the job, and worked diligently throughout. When he had questions about my needs, or suggestions for the project he was clear and concise. Now you have a great chance here, but bear in mind: you can lose it all if you're not careful. Out of all men that beg for your business, maybe one in twenty will be actual skilled contractors. The rest will be speculators -- that's men trying to get between you and the actual workers to get some of the money that ought by rights be saved on your end. Even if you find one that has the time and means to finish your project, he'll maybe know nothing about decks; and he'll have to hire the job out on sub-contract. And then you're depending on a sub-contractor, who will rush the job through so he can get another contract just as quick as he can. This is the way that this works. John does his own work. And the men that work for him, work for HIM. He makes it his business to be there and to see their work.

Homeowners worst nightmare! Show up with contract and took the deposit. Work for a few hours and never see them again. Buyer beware!! They took advantage of the fact that I was relocated from my property due to water damage and seized on the opportunity to make a few bucks. Days later sent me a termination of agreement in an email claiming they could not do the work and refunded a fraction of what was paid.

We completed a full day's work in insulating the 1st floor and refunded you the remaining balance from the deposit.
