Do not hire this company, terrible experience. While they committed to the job, they then delayed starting the job and dragged out the work, some days doing no work. For a job I was told would take a couple days, no more than week, it lasted for over 3 weeks and they still hadn't finished when I thought we had a mutual parting of ways. Kept saying things would be completed the next day and a week later they were still not completed. When I tried to discuss specifics with the contractor, he waved me off and told me not to worry, even after mistakes, didnâ t want to discuss details to prevent more errors. Some examples: For simple framing, had to be redone multiple times because didn't seem able to accurately measure for placement of new walls. Removed a window that allowed easy access to house and left it with just a piece of cardboard over the opening that the wind blew out by the time I got home and temperature was to drop to freezing that night. And in the end, to my surprise, submitted an invoice for several thousand dollars more than discussed and charged markups on materials of almost 300%-500% or 3-6 times the cost of the materials after telling me it would be cost plus labor for that part of the job (I had said I would purchase the materials but he told me not to worry since would charge me cost plus the labor for installing). When questioned over the markups on the new, surprise invoice, stated he didn't have to justify his charges to anyone. My experience has been if the price of a project is changing drastically those cost changes are discussed and approved first before moving forward. I have worked with other contractors and multiple trades people on various projects and have never had such a horrible, exasperating experience. Now left to piece the project together myself as a third of the house is down to subfloor and studs with no kitchen.

The overall appearance of the project is good. The lighting, plumbing fixtures, and doors are beautiful. The workmanship on the wall tile is excellent. The workmanship on the ceramic floor tile is sloppy, with uneven grout, gaps between the floor and the wall, and adhesive residue on the tile. JDDM did not return the keys to the building and did not provide keys to the locks on the bathroom doors. One door on the storage cabinet is warped and does not close evenly with the other door. There are skips in the wall paint, and he did not leave paint for touchup or paint identification. The project manager was rude to my representative, calling him an a-hole and a paint-picker, who thought he was an inspector. They charged me 11% extra for features that he had presented as contract alternatives. I paid promptly, including extra charges. He ultimately hung up on me, saying he was tired of this job and does not return my phone calls. They left several items to be completed or corrected, caps on toilet bolts, labels to identify the rooms.

I hired them to figure out why my garbage disposer was tripping the breaker. They quickly determined that I needed to replace the breaker. Also, while assessing the problem, they saw that I had a leak under the sink which they also fixed. The two gentlemen that came to my house were great.
