Showed up 2 hours late. Spent 20 minutes and then had to leave to pick up supplies. 2 men $ 85 Hr to "pick up parts" Oh, AND a $50 service call fee they wouldnt waive even though they were late

"Michael our appointment was at 10:30am on Nov 7th. We arrived at your house were your wife was there at 10:15 am. Your wife signed the invoice for us to start the work. At 11:45 am we completed your work which is only 1.5 hours that we were there. We only charged you for 1 man that day which i can show you on your invoice. That one man you were charged for was the owner James. Yes there was 2 men there and 1 of them was a helper which you were not billed for. your total billed was: Service call fee 50.00 Labor rate 1.5 x 85 = 127.50 Materials 20.00 Tax 13.83 Total Amount Due 211.33 Please tell me where we are over charged you"

I HIGHLY recommend JDM they were incredible! We were in the middle of a kitchen remodel and the electrician we originally hired did not show up when scheduled or even return our calls. We were stuck and distressed as this was not only holding up the kitchen contractor but could have made a major difference in the outcome. I contacted JDM and within 5 minutes they got back to me and said they would be out at 12:30 pm that day for an estimate. James arrived promptly, even before! He pointed out issues and explained everything clearly and presented alternate scenarios to me. They came out the next morning and completed the work! I am glad the other electrician didnât show up because the work that James and crew did was phenomenal and an upgrade for what would have been done. They were professional, the work was top quality, and the price was very fair and reasonable for this type of job. I will never call anyone else again! James, and crew, and Ashley in the office are amazing, total pros! Thank you JDM! I wish I could give you a 10!!

Do not hire this company. I was told that they charge $40 just to show up and then $85 per hour.I had them replace a bad circuit breaker which would take less than 1 hour. They tried to bill me for two hours which I refused to pay when I told them that my tenant said that they were there less than 1 hour and I would only pay for that 1 hour they tried to extort me by threatening to contact certain entities to have my electric turned off.

"Goof afternoon, Craig. I am sorry that the experience you encountered was not what you were expecting. Unfortunately, yes we do charge a $40 service call fee and yes, our hourly rate is $85.00 per hour which was explained and in writing which you accepted during the time of service. While we were there doing the work, your particular electrical panel needed a breaker which was not readily accessible. Our employee had to go to the supply house to pick up your breaker and came back to install. That time is billable time to the customer. During the installation and diagnosis of your issue, the electrical panel was UNSAFE and EXTREMELY DANGEROUS . As a licensed company we had to notify the townships Construction Department of this dangerous situation that you are exposing your tenant to as a landlord. Our company strives on safety and customer satisfaction."
