Egress Window - Install
This was a job that was initially expected to take a few days, that dragged on for months. I have to say, he didn't charge me any extra for the longer amount of time, but I have since heard from another contractor he would have done the job for half the price. John was upfront about price, and that goes a long way in my book. I would use John again, and would recommend him, but I would get more quotes before beginning such a large job, and get a firmer time table.

Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
I would like to recant my recent review that was less than stellar. Due to miscommunication and being aggravated with the needed repairs on my house, I was upset that Mr. Mooney did not show up when he said he would. We discussed my review today and in fact, he called me yesterday to come and complete a job and give back an exterior extension cord. I am pleased with the work his crew did and he is very knowledgeable and honest. His prices are exemplary and I actually plan to use him again for another repair.

High quality work, very reasonable pricing, honest, prompt , very pleasant, knowledgable about everything. John fixed a leak in my roof for me that several people had tried to repair before, a drop ceiling was replaced, rotted windowsills replaced and painted, ceiling light fixture repaired, he built a door for my outside shower, John is so diverse- I live in an older home so he repaired things that previous workers hadn't done correctly-Would like him to eventually renovate my entire house- Finally found a hard worker, and he likes what he does- His helper did a great job as well.

Though Mr. Mooney is very nice and appeared to care about his workers' performance, I was disappointed in several things. First, a worker installed exterior window sills flat, to which I had to point out to Mr. Mooney. They had to be redone. One sill is crooked and installed poorly. He also failed to show up today, 9/21/13, to complete one more repair. I also informed him that I thought one of his workers took my 100' exterior heavy duty extension cord and he was suppose to return it today if the worker had it. He was a no show. I am very disappointed.

John was an incredible handyman to find on line. I can't believe how diverse he was in all projects. He totally renovated my house by himself from the basement up. He needed to repair walls, deal with prior errors that other people had created, wiring, plumbing, painting, exterior work ect.. He never was challenged by anything. I even had an issue with my sprinkler system that I couldn't get anyone out to repair for weeks. John fixed it for me! My house came out beautiful in a short period of time. I get so many compliments. My sister hired him with the same results. John will be the one I will call again for any future projects.

Complete Home Inspection
He was very nice, professional, explained everything to our understanding, answered every question we had, extremely thorough, took notes & pictures of everything so nothing would be forgotten and very courteous where he did all the interior inspection and then he went outside and did everything so he would not dirty the interior. He offered us cost of do it yourself repairs that were needed to be done, he made recommendations on things that could not be done yourself, gave written estimates on everything needed. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a home inspection.

It was a pleasure working with John. I wish all contractors were so professional. He had to cancel his first scheduled visit but called me early to let me know. He came the following day and did the job. He was willing to modify his proposal to accommodate my requests and at a fair price. He sent me pictures showing each step of the process. He even sent a picture showing the yard had been thoroughly cleaned after they finished. I'm trying to hire him for some additional work.
