Responded right away. Came on time. Gave assessment and will complete work today!!! I will tell everyone to gat him when needed

I wanted to coat my roof with a white reflective coating that expands the life of the roof, fix leaks and save energy in a single step. Not many companies know about the new trend or are willing to do it. JD Owens has updated knowledge of the new technology/energy-saving trend. He and his crew came on the same day and did a fantastic job. My roof is now leak-free, looks good, and drops the attic temperature by 20 degrees. Highly recommended to people who need a roof replacement or who have a dark shingle roof to expand the life of the roof and save energy (the savings pays for the coating). JD Owens is the right company to do it for you.

The owner J D showed up on a weekend just a few hours after talking to him on the phone. He was knowledgeable and extremely courteous. He was able to do the repair on the spot and saw additional items which he tended to. His price was very fair and I could see he took the time to do quality work without rushing through the project. All in all, i would highly recommend him to anyone needing roofing work done.

JD helped us fix our roof while we were getting ready to sell our house. He repaired a hole in the roof, fixed a buckled boot and fixed some broken shingles. We were in a time crunch to get the work done and JD was extremely responsive to our schedule. He was able to come over a couple hours after we called him to examine the roof and then made it out the following day to perform the repairs. We had our home inspected the following day and the roof work passed without concern. He was also a friendly person to deal with throughout the entire process and you can tell that he takers great pride in his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for roofing work and will use him again if our new house has any issues.

I highly recommend JD Owens. My roof was leaking around the pipe boot. I gave Home Advisor a try after a co-worker suggested it. Within 2 hours I was contacted by JD Owens. He came out that afternoon and did an inspection from both the attic and a 2 story roof. He didn't just inspect the problem area but the entire roof. After reviewing some pictures he took, he offered some suggestions and we agreed on a price. He came back first thing the following morning and fixed the problem. He was courteous and informative, he knows what he's talking about and I can tell he takes pride in what he does. He has definitely earned a spot in my contacts.

Very professional and thorough. Reasonable rate. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as Mr. Owens has been in business successfully for a long time. Denise S. from Goose Creek, SC.

Extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend this contractor to anybody. I needed a licensed roof inspector to assess water damage of previously done roof that showed evidence of leakage. He showed up the same day and did the entire inspection and submitted a comprehensive report supplemented by pictures as evidence. I was able to get the prev contractor to acknowledge improper roof installation was done and are now getting ready to correct it. Will hire him again.

JD Owens did an excellent job at a reasonable price. They even worked on the weekend to fix the roof leak. I highly recommend this company if you have any roofing problems.

I'm going at work

Excellent job. They removed four (4) old skylights and installed four new skylights....no mess ..which I had anticipated...very very pleased....would recommend ...

JD was easy to work with and we have recommended him to several neighbors following Hurricane Matthew. He is very busy and may not get back to you immediately but the cost and quality of his work are better than many of the other "Pros" that Home Advisor recommended.

J.D. provided great service at a reasonable cost.

Very kind and respectable

Mr. Owens came out during a lull in the storm in October 2015 to put two tarps on my leaky roof. He told me it would be while until he could get to me to replace the roof once the insurance company came by and said it needed replacement, but because he did that, I was willing to wait. My new roof, which was a replacement for the roof put on my home in 1989 (after Hugo), is absolutely gorgeous and I know it is well done. What a great company! They did the work, cleaned up behind themselves each day, and finished ahead of schedule. I have absolutely nothing but praises to sing about this great company, Mr. Owens, and the people who work for him.

Prompt, dependable, all around great service

I have a leaky roof in the middle of South Carolina's never-ending cycle of rain. JD Owens Roofing called me back on a Sunday, came out and put up tarps within a few hours of the call, sparing my home further damage. I am so grateful. I'm still waiting to hear from the company that is associated with my insurance firm. The rain has started again, but I feel like we'll be fine through tonight's continued deluge. I am lucky it is only the roof, and even more lucky to have found JD Owens Roofing here on HomeAdvisor. I fully intend to work with this company once the insurance adjustor has come by and done whatever needs to be done.

JD Owens came out quickly and provided a free estimate. He was very professional explaining what had to be done. The roof was leaking badly, so he had his crew come out quickly and make the repairs. He replaced the back section of the roof and hand-nailed all of the shingles. I definitely recommend this company.

Great old school roofing. Excellent value, honest owner.

Shows up on time and does a good professional job.

Experienced and very helpful.

Answered my call and set up appt. right away!

Good service with reasonable price. I am totally satisfied.

JD called me the day I submitted the request on servicemagic, and was out the next day for an estimate. His was the second estimate I had on my roof repair, and was significantly lower than the first guy. In addition, he was much more knowledgable and didn't try to sell me on work I didn't need. He and his son completed the repairs promptly and well to my satisfaction. I highly recommend!
