Jeremy and his crew are great. He got back to me right away and we worked through the process. His team is on time every day and very personable. They did a great job installing wood flooring in 2 rooms within a week. Team even showed up the day the flooring was delivered to make sure everything was in order. Would highly recommend and I would be using him again on future projects.

We purchased a house in Austerlitz that desperately needed the hardwood floors refinished due to years of discoloration due to the sun. Not only was J Davis Flooring easy to work with from a communication standpoint, but was also fantastic throughout the process. If I could give 6 stars I would as we're so impressed with how the floors turned out. We'd definitely recommend them to others!

We highly recommend J Davis flooring. We had a leak under some floor boards. Jeremy came over and gave us a professional, thoughtful and reasonable assessment of the situation. He was able to schedule us very quickly (we got lucky). Chris and CJ arrived promptly as scheduled. They were nice and accommodating as well as neat and efficient. We really could not have asked for more. We don't want anymore leaks but we would definitely use Jeremy again if we decide to replace/refinish our floors. We would give them 10 stars if we could.

We were so happy with the work done to refinish our floors.! The owner was great at responding to any questions we had. He also got back to us in a very timely fashion. All his employees where great! Definitely would recommend J Davis Flooring!!

I wish I knew about this company a long time ago! They do excellent work and were very friendly and respectful. You can tell they take pride in the work they do and the workmanship is excellent. They showed up every day on time and explained the process every day and what I should expect for the next day. The price was great. Thanks so much

I would love to give a great review, but I cannot. First, the service is NOT dustless, by any means. He also wanted to leave the extreme levels of dust on walls, floors and every single area in our home for the painters to clean up after. Second, there are no protective coverings on things like HVAC vents, cabinets and other areas where the machine may hit and remove the finishes. The process was erratic and inconsistent. He did not bring a competent team for a 3800 square foot home, but a very young apprentice. Third, there was damage to door moldings (broken, etc), other broken items (like a custom glass lampshade which I discovered rather than being told and reimbursed for). Finally, we found the quality of the work to be subpar...we were heavily recommended a product (Rubio Monocoat) that was not the right product for our floors...and the finished product/finishing (inconsistent finishes) on our floors (after multiple tries) almost made me weep. And, this was after we brought in another floor vendor (to review the work) that this provider apprenticed with early on, who told him that he had to redo the floors with a BONA product to get the finish we wanted. He refused and insisted on using the product he recommended, having never used it on the flooring downstairs (cherry) before. We believe that the insistence on using this product was more about the ease of application (for him) vs the other well known, proven brands with multiple steps. We have to have the floors redone by someone else. We have asked for him to come back and fix one section of our pine flooring upstairs for which there was no finish added to no avail. We have also reached out about the HVAC dust issue (throughout all the vents) and it was agreed that he would have his insurance cover it...but he has not responded to our repeated inquiries about this. We have shown him that our floors have gotten damaged really easily, drops of water, some dirt that stuck, and nothing has been done to remedy the situation. Even today, we have to carefully walk on the floor and the maintenance required is exhaustive. I deeply regret hiring this company.

Jeremy was a pleasure to work with. He and his team did a great job on refinishing old Douglas fir kitchen floor. I reached out to him when I felt the floors needed another round of monocoat and he was more than happy to come back to do another coat. He was very flexible with my somewhat limited schedule. I would definitely recommend him for your next flooring project !

The floor looks as good a year later as when it was first done. These boards are old, and were painted before I was born I suspect. They also had to do some repair work where an addition was added. It wasn't an easy job to refinish and ends up looking very good.
