The contractor disappeared, I am not sure if he passed away, he is not responding calls and we signed a contract

They did a very good job on my mother's projects. The only issue I ran into is that they're very busy so scheduling wasn't easy, but the quality of the work was good.

The contractor arrived in a timely manner for an estimate. He was very knowledgeable about the work he was going and completed it in a timely manner.

Bob and his crew did a great job. They were flexible with added services we asked for. They entire project only took 3 months (3 bathrooms, flooring, carpet, kitchen counters, fireplace resurface, bannister, and ceiling fans). They were very considerate about keeping the intrusion to a minimum. Solid work and highly recommend them. Price was right in the middle of all estimates but Bob's estimate was very thorough.

Bob and his team worked very well in completing our bathroom remodel. From picking out tile to scheduling to keeping us informed of every detail during the project, Bob did a wonderful job. When there was miscommunication (from mine or his behalf) Bob and his team were able to fix it and make it right. In this market it's hard to find reliable contractors who are going to do what they say. I would recommend Bob and his team to anyone! Thank you again!

Where to start? I'll do this bullet point style otherwise this review will be as long as a novel. I'm doing this to help people understand before they get involved with such a big project. - It took 10 months to complete a 4 month project. I'm using the word "complete" loosely as they left and there are many items incomplete. -The HVAC was installed INCORRECTLY according to 2 experts. We have to now spend thousands of $$ to repair. - They destroyed the front yard by pulling trucks on it (huge tire treads). - Their plumber subs are terrible. They jack-hammered holes in the laundry room and left our dryer in the hole!! We were without washer and dryer for 3 months!! - They did not clean up. In fact, we picked up hundreds of rusty nails and still finding more. - The walls on the addition do not line up with the existing house. 1 and 1/2 inch off alignment. - Gutters were not installed in a timely fashion and as a result , water ran in the attic and behind the walls causing damage. - Per the contract they were supposed to have porta-potties on site. Nope. The guys pissed on the side of the house (caught on camera) and all over our bathroom floor. We are currently replacing the toilet and floor because it's disgusting just thinking about it. - They would work for 2 days and then disappear for two weeks. When they showed up (because they were so far behind schedule), it would be 7:30 am on a Saturday morning. The neighbors are still complaining about the early morning racquet. - We were constantly asked to go to Home Depot/Lowes to buy material because they didn't have it when they showed up. We actually went because we wanted the job to get done. Can you believe that one??!! - We got tired of waiting for this simple project to get done so we gave him a deadline (he was already 3 months over the maximum time to complete per the contract). The day of the deadline, Bob showed up with quite an attitude. He blamed us for the job taking so long. Wow! I could go on but that seems like enough to help people make an informed decision. It appears he has some good reviews but most are for small projects/remodels. I don't believe additions are his area of expertise. It us sometimes difficult to find a good contractor. My wife and I were fortunate to find JEB Builders through Home Advisor. We are looking forward to working with JEB on a bigger project in the near future. Bob and his team are as professional and flexible as we have ever worked with. Changes were easily handled. The extensive work was done on time on budget and of the highest quality. The plumbing and electrical sub contractors were excellent.Bob's years of design experience were invaluable as he planned with us then executed flawlessly. We highly recommend JEB Builders to everyone.

Bob was great. His crew did a wonderful job on my bathroom. My bathroom was in terrable shape with mold, seven layer walls,and rotting floors. Bob worked with me and my schedual to give me the most beautiful bathroom ever. I recomend him to everyone and I will definatly be useing J.E.B in the future.

I called Bob on a Saturday night he called me back that evening and came out the next day which was Sunday to give us a quote. He gave us a quote on Monday evening and Tuesday had a crew here taking down the horrible sheet rock that was installed by another contractor that really left us in a bad situation. Bob literally saved our holiday, the previous contractor left our home in shambles and he came in here with a very professional crew and completed it. In addition to the drywall, he also installed our hardwood floors and completed our deck. He even had a gutter company come out the day after Christmas to finish up the outside. Bob is a very honest, reliable, caring person whom truly cares about the quality and satisfaction of his customers. I cannot say enough about him and would recommend him to everyone. The quality of his work and reliability was a blessing to us, since we were really taken advantage of by another contractor. It's great to see there are still honest people like Bob out there.

Bob and his crew are prompt & clean. Very good communication & daily updates. JEB performed complete renovations on my Master bath and Hall bath. The quality of their work is superb. Bob's not happy until you're happy. A++

The overall quality of the main work was good. We had our shower and floor tiled, and a new counter top mounted on our vanity. The problem was the short cut taken when they installed an exhaust fan. It was installed in the correct spot and hooked up to the electric as planned, but they did not vent it at all. They never connected a pipe, which means the fan would have vented into my attic. They probably thought I would never go in the attic to look. When I called Bob he sent someone back to "vent" it to the outside. All they did was run flex pipe to the gable vent. This is not the proper way to vent a fan. Numerous calls to Bob to have this properly vented to the outside were met with stalling. He was busy but would get back to me etc etc. He never did. follow-ups via voicemail and text went unanswered. Eventually, I had to spend $400 to have someone come out to add the vent to outside. This was a huge disappointment because I thought Bob was an honest guy. I would not recommend JEB and do recommend if you use/used JEB, check all the little things where they may have cut corners.

" I would definitely call them for a quote on any job I need done. Bob called almost immediately after we contacted Home Advisor. He also came over the same night to review the bathroom job. We discussed Skimcoating all the walls. Bob saved us $ 300 by only sanding the rough parts of the wall and the paint did the rest which was satisfactory. A couple of days later he gave us a very reasonable offer. We decided to forego the sink and have them Paint. Bob sent a contract with details which I signed, but he had to review some big job and never discussed the Contract. Because We and Bob and his Worker never sat down, and reviewed all the details, his worker missed doing three things in the agreement. Bob recognized the discrepancy and sent his electrition over to complete the one of the items in the contract. The only downside was us not reviewing WITH HIS WORKER the details listed in the contract which, in my opinion, everything would have been done satisfactorily without JEB having to come back. Bob ALWAYS answered all my emails, and called me when necessary and in general did everything you would want in Customer Service definitely deserved 5 Stars. "

Bob is very professional, prompt and thorough. His quotes are clearand consice He doesn't try to sell you extra work or services. HE was flexilbe in working with my specific needs and supplies. His worker, at times, forgot to cleanup 100% but once I told Bob about it, the worker apologized and was cleaned up after himself better.

In the past I have been screwed by contactors and seems like they want to get rich by overnight. Not J.E.B. Builders. Bob which is the owner of J.E.B. Builders will work with you on the price of your project. I had my bedroom remodel and when bob's two workers which is Frank and Joe work on my bedroom, they did a excellent job and they were quick. Bob is honest and will tell you up front on everything and he will not cheat you. Bob was the 4th contractor that gave me a price for my remodel of my bedroom. Bob was way cheaper than the other contractors. Frank which is Bob's employee was fixing minor things in the bedroom which he didn't have to do. Frank had did more than he was supposed to do. My adviced to everyone, if you need anything fix or remodel of your house, get J.E.B. Builders. From now on, J.E.B. Builders will be my contractor from now on.

Bob is honest with you and he will work with you for the cost of your project. I had other contractors screw me in the past but not bob. His two workers Frank and Joe did a excellent job in remodel my bedroom. Bob charged me way less than the other contractors wanted to charged me. I will use J.E.B. builders again. Once again, anyone that needs contracting work done to their house, use JEB Builders.

We hired Bob Sorrentino of JEB builders because he had extensive construction knowledge. Bob was responsive and his crew professional. I would use JEB for future projects

The estimate was 31% low compared to the final price but the crew(s) were real good, professional, and the final work was paint ready. We had tape, mud, and sanding only.

every time the boss left the workers would leave for hours on end

I had my bathroom redone about 6 years ago. The owner, Bob, is a very nice man. However, his worker, Ockie, did a poor job. I just had to have the shower stall redone and now I have a few cracks in the ceramic tiles on the floor. The current contractor said that the floor was done totally wrong. We also had pipes and drains that were done improperly. The Owner had told me at the time that he would refund some of my money, but never did. This bathroom was redone for my disabled son, and he did quote me a fair price at the time. I was totally disappointed that he never refunded any of my money and would not recommend them again. You cannot find a more dedicated contractor! Bob and his team want you to be 100% pleased with their work..they take it personally! This is only our 2nd contracting experience... but I learned a lot. Like someone else said, I felt like a partner. Even though Bob has excellent design skills, he always steps back and lets the homeowner decide. Unfortunately, one thing that can happen is items ordered can come in damaged or wrong... delaying the project. Not contractor's fault - just the way it is. I will, and have, recommended J.E.B. to friends.

Bob and his team were great. He helped us to choose materials, got us a discount on them through his suppliers, and saw the job through to the end. Aside from a couple minor touch-ups (which Bob handled efficiently), everything was done on spec and in a pretty timely manner. Bob even handled all of this while having a personal issue to deal with that took him away for a bit. All things considered, I was impressed that he was able to get everything done in a timely manner. His crew was also nice and professional. Would absolutely use him again, and have two referrals lined up for him.

The professionals are great, on time at coming by, worked very hard. Couldnt ask for more.
