Javier and his crew did an Awesome job and worked very hard to get our yard back into shape.

DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR!! I hired Mr. Montero from J& E Landscaping to perform landscaping services on my residential property but primarily to remove weeds. Mr. Montero promised he would terminate the weed population by pulling the largest ones by hand and spraying herbicide on the smaller ones. The herbicide was never applied and the weeds he supposedly sprayed were still there and continued to proliferate. I was quoted $120.00 for landscaping services. I inquired about reseeding the grass and Mr. Montero asked for another $60.00 in cash to do this. He also asked to be paid in advance for a job that he would not do for another 2 months. I was reluctant about advancing him $60.00, especially since he would not be seeding the grass the same day. I also wanted to see the results of the landscaping work. The work was done on February 12, 2021. When I arrived home it appeared that the job was well done, no complaints. Vegetation was trimmed and proper and our small grass area was cut. It appeared the weeds had been removed as promised. At this point I had decided that I would hire J & E landscape for our monthly landscaping needs. On the first visit to the property, Mr. Montero drew and estimate for the cost of the work to commence on 2/12/21. During this time, he also provided me an estimate as to how much monthly maintenance would cost me. I was quoted $65.00. I was satisfied with the price and felt it was reasonable. I called Mr. Montero for future service and expressed gratitude and enthusiasm to him about hiring him for future work. I left a voicemail message requesting that he please return my call. DAYS passed and Mr. Montero failed to return my call. I sent Mr. Montero at least two text messages following the voicemail message, requesting to be contacted so that we could schedule future service. Again, he did not call. Approximately 4 weeks passed without contact from the pro. I was perplexed. After only 2 weeks passed since the date of service, the small weeds in the grass came back and I noticed that one side of the property contained weeds that were never even pulled 1st or 2nd visit! I called Home Advisor to see if they had any answers. They also tried to reach out to J& E Landscaping to no avail. Finally, they had made contact with Mr. Montero, who lied to Home Advisor and stated he had infact called me several times during the week, but could not get through. I offered Home Advisor phone transcripts that proved Mr. Montero never called. Finally on 3/9/21 ( a month later) I received a hostile text message from Mr. Montero stating that he would send his crew back to the property to remove the weeds that remained however J& E Landscape was not responsible for any weeds that reappear after the visit. To add insult to injury, he also stated that following the visit J& E landscape would no longer conduct business with me ever again! What followed was horrifying. When the crew arrived (late) on 3/10/21 to pull the weeds, they were miserable. 2 crew members appeared, used profanity and lit up cigarettes on the property while working. They were on their cell phones and made disparaging comments about me, and complained the entire time they were working. They did NOT pull all the weeds out and again, no herbicide was applied. I immediately contacted Home Advisor and asked their team if this is the code of conduct that is expected from their pros and if this is how clients should expect to be treated. While Home Advisor conceded that my allegations were tenable, they argued that they still needed to speak further to the pro so they could gather more evidence on what actually transpired. Consequently, I requested for a full refund and/ or remove J& E Landscape's profile from Home Advisor. Please do not hire J& E Landscape. They are disrespectfu...

Javier did an excellent job removing a large Sisso tree in our back yard. Looks like the tree was never there. Did a great job with clean-up too. Would definitely hire him again for other landscape projects and maintenance.

Our landscapers were great; they went above and beyond in customer service. I was very pleased with the work they did.

Javier is very personable he takes his business very serious, I like that he keeps a note calendar book and walks you through the job to make sure you're happy with his work.

They did ok work, took out a tree that wasn’t supposed to be taken out. Not very punctual. But pricing wasn’t horrible.

We hired them to begin lawn service January 2019; however, prior we had them take down a tree and clean-up a very messy agave cactus. They did a marvelous job and we look forward to them maintaining our lawn, bushes and citrus. The owner is very personable and appears to have a knowledge of what needs to be done with regards to the lawn, bushes and citrus, plus elimination of weeds.

On time, professional and job well done. Completely cleaned up. I have hired them for monthly maintenace and pleased with their work ethic.
