Xxl contracting

Took my deposit. Did half the job. Left debris on my lawn and in my basement and never responded to my outreach. DO NOT HIRE.

They were very good but left me with all their debris to discard, as well as the concrete mess on my front lawn.

Came on time as promised and did a great job.

Jason responded promptly to my request for a contractor to repair my concrete foundation. He gave me a fair and reasonable estimate and explained what he needed to do. He and his crew finished the work in two days despite the weather being so cold. They were pleasant and polite and did an excellent job. My husband and I greatly appreciated his workmanship. We would highly recommend him !! Thank you so much Jason and crew !!

Got the job done in a timely manner and properly, after trying for a month to get a mason for this job. The other masons didn't return calls or emails, or simply declined.

Jason and crew did a great job fixing a leak in my basement. I had tried to have a handyman fix it- not successful! The men had to make a number of visits to complete all the steps done, but did it timely and well. And cleaned up afterwards and put in topsoil and grass seed!

Prompt service at a reasonable price.

Update 9/11/20 - Although we had a misunderstanding, Jason and crew did finish the project to my satisfaction. Thank you Jason. Original Review - Hired to do a small concrete patio, that did not finish properly. Ask him to come back and finish it right, but after 5 phone calls, l have given up. He has no interest in making a customer happy. So here I am unhappy and $2,600 poorer. My recommendation. Do not hire J and E. He does not care about the customer! Additional info in response, I already notified you that I tested negative for COVID and you still do not respond to my request. Please return and complete the job that I paid you to do. I am no longer ill, it was simply a sinus infection.

We hired J&E to do a small patio for us. They were professional, reasonably priced, and fun to be around! One of the best things was we didn't have to wait weeks before they started the job. They left the site clean every day. Great people, great company! We recommend them highly!

Jason and his crew were very respectful, professional and competent. They were timely in getting the work done. They know their stuff.

Jason repaired some foundation issues we had as well as installed a new patio. He was very responsive to give us a quote, was very fair in pricing, and his team showed up on time as promised. Jason went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our project. He was personally on site with his team and the job went very well and looks amazing. Will be my go to company with any future masonry needs.

I hired Jason to repair my used brick chimney that was badly deteriorated. He and his two employees responded very quickly. Jason provided a detailed explanation of what they would do to repair the chimney. The quote for the work was reasonable and he also gave me a senior discount. They worked on the project for two days. I was extremely pleased with the finished product and highly recommend J &E Masonry.

Unfortunately, I did not have the same outcome as others who have written reviews about J and E Masonry and Basement Waterproofing. My initial review written on 03/29/20, was premature. Im not going to go into all the unpleasant details as that would take too long. The long and short of it is I had hired Jason H. J and E Masonry back in March 2020 to fix a leak in the foundation of my home from the outside. It only leaks when a lot of snow melts or we have a lot of rain at one time, other than that it is bone dry. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, J and E Masonry was not able to stop the leak even after two further attempts made by Jason on the inside of the house. Since J and E Masonry was not able to stop the leak, Jason stated he was going to reimburse the money I had paid them and would reimburse me on 04/01/21. Here we are in May 2021, and still no check. My attempts to contact him have gone unanswered. I thought he was a nice guy, I guess I pegged him wrong. Its apparent to me now that Jason had no intention of ever paying me back and that saddens me. I had hired and paid him in good faith to do a job for me and unfortunately, they were not able to fix the leak, believe me I wish they had. I have been extremely patient regarding this matter and all I wanted was my money back as promised, as its the right thing to do, the noble thing to do, what a good business man would do. Now, Im left with no other choice but to take other action in this matter and Im sorry it has come to this. Not my choice!!

They were super efficient and very easy to work with. They stayed within the timeline given which was fantastic.

The customer service was outstanding, they were quick at getting back to me and they were prompt.
