Highly recommend considering JES for your concrete settling or foundation repair needs. From inspection (Tice Toomy) to completed work (Marcella’s Scott) my experience was characterized by friendly professionalism and a sincere commitment to providing customer satisfaction. this is the biggest POS company to deal with hands down. Brandon will come to your house and try to sell you on an urgent situation, he will tell you the work will take 3 days, and he will be quick to secure the building permit. My permit is dated Jan 28 and it is now set to expire by the end of the month. Henrico County failed JES in their inspection over a month ago. The crews had to redo their work multiple times already. The ‘project manager’ Rick Myers is unresponsive and has never returned a phone call or voicemail, and to my knowledge he has never stepped foot onsite. I have essentially become the project manager to keep them on track throughout this whole process. Once they get paid, they don’t give a damn about the quality of work or service that you receive. There is no pride taken in the job they do. The engineering inspection is done by a third-party hired by JES, and I don’t know how they could do a proper inspection of the drain tile when all of the work was already sealed over. I will be leaving a complaint with the BBB and if JES continues to be unresponsive when the building permit expires then I am prepared to sue.

JES is the WORST let me repeat THE WORST company you can hire. They have failed inspection from the county multiple times and have NOT tried to contact us to finish the work. Plus every time we call no one answers! Their permit expires in a week and they have no interest finishing the work we paid for. Don’t waist your time! They put up a pretty front but behind the surface they are not worth a single dime or a minute of your time. Low quality work for an expensive price. Do yourself a favor and try a different company. They probably have more pride in their work than JES ever will. Also don’t just look at the reviews on google go on yelp or Reddit and you will find a multitude of bad reviews!

Trent and his colleague did a fantastic job lifting and leveling our large front porch slab. The whole process took less than 90 minutes and we’re very happy with the result.

My experience with JES for the most part was great! Mr. John Trak was my initial inspector who confirmed my fears, but showed me the best way to fix the problem. There were a few scheduling conflicts but once my crew showed up they completed my project in two days. Thank you Dustin my site lead, once he took control he showed up, and performed. Jordan, and Lewis were the other crew members they worked efficiently and smart. JES Foundation and Repair gave me peace of mind, a secured foundation, and added value to my home.

Not complete yet, but everything checks out great so far.

Do not work with JES. They contracted with us for a job they were completely incapable of completing. We paid our deposit in Dec, work was supposed to begin in Feb. For months, crews would show up, complain about how narrow the space was, say they didn't have the proper equipment to do the job, then leave the site. We worked with them while they replanned how to complete the project because they claimed the person who bid the job screwed up. Further complicating matters, they were digging too close to the sewer pipe and constantly damaging it. We had to constantly hire plumbers to repair the pipe and remediation companies to deal with the sewage. We finally fired them after they let a leak go for a month where they not only didn't tell us about it, but denied that there was a leak when we asked whether that was the problem. Everyone at every level blamed somebody else, and it took threats of lawsuits to get the contract canceled and our deposit returned. The fecal matter ran deep.

JES Foundation Repair did a tremendously wonderful job in waterproofing our basement and installing basement gutters. Nick, James, Jaiden, Jaquan, and Tomarra were very conscientious and considerate. Very skilled and understanding. A+plus plus!!!

Joyce and Chris did my concrete raising. It was quick and not as loud as I thought it would be. They were both very nice and friendly and I was glad to have them do the job.

We hired this business to install three push piers for the front of the house, 7 carbon fiber reinforcement strips for the basement wall and raise the concrete garage floor and the back patio with injected foam. The push piers and the concrete pads went well. The employees were professional and did a good job. The carbon fiber strips in the basement is another story. They installed them incorrectly, not according to their own instructions. They are 7 supposed to be bonded to the wall using epoxy resin. After a couple of days they began to delaminate and separate from the wall. They also tied them into the wood wall foundation base plate incorrectly. I called the office to let them know that it was wrong. After multiple tries, I was finally able to get someone to respond and they sent an inspector out and agreed that it was wrong and decided they would add seven more carbon fiber strips to help support the wall. During this frustrating process, it took me multiple phone calls, text messages and emails to get a response. They finally sent a crew out to fix it and I thought they did a pretty good job and was satisfied. Until I realized days later that the epoxy on some of the strips never dried. Now, months later it is still not dry and it is obvious that they did not mix the epoxy correctly. I contacted them and told them that they could just drop some epoxy off and I could do it myself. At least I would know that it is done correctly. They said that they would have a project coordinator contact me, but I still haven't heard and now I can't get any response from anyone. We gave them over $22,000 of our money and they are now completely ignoring us. They say there a lifetime warranty on their work, but what good is that when they will not respond or show up? It is completely worthless! We are not asking for anything special only what they promised to do and what we paid them for. Stay away from this company

JES just finished our crawl space, I can't say enough about the quality of service from start to finish. I want to thank Cory our salesman and the installation crew, Frank "PJ", Pallas, Nick, and Riddel. My expectations were far surpassed, JES is a company you can trust.

Easy to work with from start to finish. The team sent to my home to perform the job were extremely professional and fast working. Took the time to explain everything they were planning to do in detail. Job was finished quickly and looked very professional.

I contacted JES because I thought my dishwasher was leaking into the crawl space. Two guys came out, inspected and took pictures. They told me that there was not a leak but that there was standing water, insulation damage and mold. Homeowners nightmare. He claimed doing this would be 'Energy saving'. But had to do today to save $###. High pressure salesman lead me to believe his pitch. I wound up refinancing my home to pay for this as he convinced me I needed it. Which I then convinced my family it was the right thing to do. As polite as they were, they were not professional in work. When they came out to take the insulation out, I had someone take a pic of the area below the dishwasher. Indeed I had a leak. They disconnected my internet, denied it. Let my Golden retriever out of the fenced in backyard. she was picked up at a nearby school 20 min later by a neighbo. Had to get a tow truck to get it out of the driveway because they had scraped and put a hole in the freshly resurfaced street. Before it was all done they disconnected the internet again, requiring a tech to come out, created a leak in the main pipe that brings water into the house. I was never reimbursed for the plumber bill as I was told by the production Mgr. I would. Was given the same promise in March by another 'boss', after a BBB review. Still waiting They also collected final payment from the financial company before finalizing the job. The 'Energy savings ' is a complete falsity. My energy bill the first month increased by $100. The dehumidifier comes on once an hour to check humility levels then again to 'stir up ' the air in the crawlspace. This seems like overkill for an area that is supposed to be airtight. I've been a homeowner for 25 years and this is the first time that I've felt completely scammed by a company. I'm on disability and will not be able to pay the increased electric bills going into the spring/summer as air conditioning will be used more. That dehumidifier will likely be running much more. Just apologizes and inaction Update 4/29/22 According to Billing office for JES a refund was issued today, to the finance company that I paid off in December!? The damages that were performed by JES, were corrected by the plumbing company and paid for by myself directly. The finance company had/has ZERO involvement.
