JES Foundation Repair

We had our crawlspace serviced today by JES/Phil. He was very thorough and explained everything he did while under our home. He even shared detailed photos. Phil was very kind and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend JES and Phil to visit your home as well. I have to say we have had our crawlspace sealed now for several years and it's the best investment we have made to date. House just feels better throughout the year. No more worries about a smelly crawlspace or critters getting under there either. Call JES and ask for Phil to come out. You will not regret it!

Collin Dozier came out to my house and gave me a very detailed and comprehensive examination of the house and the things that need to be corrected. He was professional and friendly throught the time he was here. The only thing that was funny was he accidently closed the door to the garage locking us out of the house trying to protect my dog. However he quickly resolved the issue by climbing through a window to get us back in. He saved the day and my wallet from having to call a locksmith. We laughed about the whole thing. He gave a 5+ Star performance.

Contracted JES to do repair work on my property in Norfolk VA to stop the sinking. Chris Barefoot was the Supervisor for the project and keep me updated each stage of the project. I was impressed and appreciative of the communication and excellence of the work. Highly recommend JES Foundation for any foundation work to restore the foundation to code.

Had an excellent experience from JES! During the process of investigating a smell in our house, the encapsulation that was previously installed by JES was destroyed by an outside plumbing service. We made an appointment, but with the situation surrounding this damage needing to get expedited, Chris Barefoot got involved, investigated the encapsulation damage, and completed it two days ahead of time. On top of that, he waived the service fee which saved us $200! Our encapsulation looks as great as it did before. I really appreciate Chris and the JES team!

Would be 5 stars based on the crew, but we had problems with the lead up to the job, which started 3 weeks late based on the salesman not understanding the scope of work and promising something that wasn't possible. The Friday before work was supposed to start, Gustavo (the supervisor) came to look at the job and let me know it would not be able to be accomplished the way we wanted. He worked with the Engineer (Scott) to figure out a way-ahead. Once the plumbers moved some interferences, the crew started. Eduardo (foreman) and his team (Jorge and Hector) did an expert job. They communicated each step of the way, were respectful of the inside of the house, took no shortcuts, and cleaned exceedingly well at the end of each day. These guys were top-notch! The best of the best! We were able to accomplish the first three of our goals: 1. Stabilize the house 2. Gain room in the basement. 3. Get lift to make the house [more] level. 4. Recover the existing beam for use over our fireplace.

JES encapsulated our crawlspace. The crew (Neri Beltran, Hector Gonzales, and Denilsson Fuentes) worked hard and efficiently as a team to complete the project with professionalism and attention to quality.

This company is the epitome of excellence. I hired JES to install engineered push piers for our slab. Prior to the work being done our entire upstairs would squeak, no matter how softly you’d step. After they completed, the squeaky floor subsided by 80/90%! Which is so amazing, and I didn’t even think it would fix as much as it did. We also had them use polyurethane foam to stabilize additional areas of our slab and driveway! The driveway wasn’t bad, but there’s a noticeable improvement. Where me and my husband were really impressed was by the production crew. They were extremely buttoned up, timely, and extremely considerate. They even managed to allow my kids to nap without disturbing them! How they did that is beyond me. When they got up though, they started the “jacking” process. My oldest son (6) and I were giggling at the noises it made, and the crew laughed along with him. The crew leaders- Greg Shock and Luis Carranza communicated through every step of the process and insured that we were 100% satisfied with the project prior to even asking for a final payment. That alone made me feel secure about my decision to have JES do this work. When it comes to home services, this company is truly a class act and a clear level above other companies in their field. They offer full solutions without adding on a ton of extras to pad the cost. I was informed of the importance of drainage around our slab, and it was explained to me with such grace and patience. I am not well versed in this field ha! Not only was excellent work done, but it is also warrantied for life! JES will be the only contractor I call going forward for my foundation needs. I mean that honestly!

Taylor Jeffries came out last year to inspect my crawlspace. He was very thorough and ultimately recommended a full encapsulation and drainage. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and the crew that installed the work was fabulous. My HVAC bill went down, my allergies have subsided, and I feel safer that my wood is not going to decay from moisture problems.

JES was extremely communicative about all parts of the process. Every person was respectful, helpful, and kind. I am extremely grateful for Emilio Sanches, Angel Maya and Juan Mata for encapsulating my crawlspace. They also recommended other fixes they found during the installation to make me more aware of my homeâ s health. I am very happy with the outcome of the project, and would recommend their service to anyone who needs encapsulation done right.

Augustine, Greg, CJ, and crew were phenomenal! They made sure to explain next steps and offer walk through as after every step of the project. They were very efficient and respectful of our property. The clean up was also fantastic- other than the expected debris there was no sign they were drilling holes, cutting pipes, or pouring concrete! I will 100% recommend JES to anyone needing foundation repair. Our worries were gone and our problems were fixed in a day and a half. Thank you!

The worst. LIARS! They said a foundation issue would fix a warping floor. It never did. They charged $7k, installed some foundation jacks, and nothing happened. Then they tried to sell more foundation work. Can NOT be trusted!!

The service workers were amazing - the technical parts, as far as changes to my work order and electrical repairs were unsatisfactory.

JES sealed my extremely tight crawl space. Spent two long days and completed project, great communication, on time, professional team. I crawled into space to review the work, the team did a great and complete, neat job. I believe the investment will be worth it.
