I hired JFK Moving to handle a large, solid-wood executive desk after another company was unable to complete the job. From my first conversation with Tia, I felt confident I was working with professionals. She was responsive, understanding of my situation, and clear about pricing. The quote was reasonable, and she worked with me to make it fair. On moving day, Suhrob and David arrived earlier than the scheduled window, which I appreciated. They were efficient, respectful, and clearly experienced. They successfully disassembled and moved the heavy desk without any issues and handled all items with care. What impressed me most was their professionalism — they even explained how the desk comes apart in case I ever need to move it again. They also helped carry additional heavy items upstairs without hesitation. The entire experience was smooth, organized, and stress-free. I have another full-house move planned for this summer and will absolutely use JFK Moving again. Highly recommend

They damaged my stuff and said if I paid them for the move they would take care of having my things fixed. I trusted their word and paid for my move. It is now four months and they haven?t fixed anything. They don?t respond to message either. That is a pretty sad way to do business. They hire inexperienced workers that don?t communicate well and don?t know how to disassemble, wrap or move furniture. They also scratched my new floor. They make it so that your only resource is to sue them.

On 8/10/24, JFK Movers moved me into my new home, which had brand new floors. They damaged a valuable piece of vintage furniture, as well as my floors. Before the move began, I specifically asked about full-value coverage due to the value of some of my belongings. In violation of the guidelines set forth by the Surface Transportation Board, I was told they DID NOT OFFER full-value coverage by the foreman, Miguel. The furniture: JFK offered to take my vintage teak buffet and restore the damage. What they returned was a completely different color (this is part of a matching set), and improperly finished. The espresso finish remained tacky because the wood had not been prepared properly, and it had not been sealed. It came off at the slightest touch. They picked it back up to strip it and restore it to its original finish, but have had the piece over a month. I'm not sure what "professional" furniture shop they are using, but it looked to have been applied by a complete amateur. After having my buffet for another month (today is 10/27), they refuse to give me a return date. They have invited me to take legal action or accept the .60/lb payout, which I would have been happy to do, had I known how poorly they would treat this valuable piece. I simply would like it returned in its original condition in a timely fashion. The floors: After a representative acknowledging the scratches and attempted to use some wipes to remove them from the floors, he said they would treat the entire floors to resolve the issue. They now claim the scratches were pre-existing and that they are not visible. I am including photos for reference. They clearly gouged the floor while moving the buffet. I would like compensation in order to repair the floors. This has been an unnecessarily drawn-out and difficult experience, with a complete lack of customer support/service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

First of all, I hate moving. Absolutely dread it. JFK Moving made my move easy, stress-free, and almost enjoyable. Oscar, Marc, and Devonte were terrific. They showed up on time, were courteous and friendly, customer service and satisfaction oriented, handled furniture and items with care and efficiency (great wrappers and packers!), and just made all of my anxieties about loading up, moving, hauling my stuff up a flight of stairs, etc. disappear.. If service is great, am a loyalist consumer, and I am glad to say that I have gladly found my new local and state moving company in JFK Moving. Hire these guys!

I will write a few reviews but on the front end, after contacting multiple companies, JFK was the only one to reply promptly, provide me a clear coat effective quote in writing and answered all my calls and questions without fail. Very knowledgeable, responsive and friendly. Very fair deposit and price. More to come

Anthony and Aurelio did a great job moving us on this past weekend. They worked very hard. They had to deal with stairs at both locations. They we on time, courteous and were careful with our belongings. Give them a raise!!

Oscar and Aurelio were the movers who helped my mother-in-law and me move from an apartment to a house. They were very thorough and meticulous about protecting her furniture, a lot of which was antique. I greatly appreciated them! Would strongly recommend this company for moving.

The movers, Oscar and Logan, were very professional, hard-working, and are efficient at what they do. They had all the supplies to safely move all items without anything breaking or getting damaged. They did a great job despite it being dark out and getting hired just the day before. Thanks!
