Claims they employ a tile layer, I hired them to build a custom tile shower. They built one tile shower. The plumbing was installed incorrectly causing the water to flow under the tile and onto the bathroom floor, the tile job was a disaster, not lining up at any corner, the grout had holes I could stick my fingers in. The entire shower had to be jack hammered out and re done, which cause the joining wall to my office to break. They then built a second tile shower. During all of this JG would only send his crew 1-2 times a week, most times they did not work 8 hours, this took 5 months to complete. Second tile shower flooring was so cheap, bought by JG, his crew refused to lay it, so I rushed to Home Depot for replacement tile, when I returned 30 minutes later his crew had called it a day, at 2:00pm. JG never came to inspect the work done by his crew each day, mistakes could have been corrected each day. He left my yard a mess for 3 months while this went on, trash blew everywhere and plants where killed because his crew left tile and drywall leaning on them. He only sent them to clean up because I filed a complaint with the ROC regarding his work and he cleaned my yard the day before the ROC inspection. JG also remodeled my kitchen. His craftsmanship is so terrible, I had to pay a plumber to fix what was left behind. I will have to pay a carpenter to repair what damage was left. I paid an electrician to correct to damage caused not only to the center island he installed but damage caused outside my house due to the electrical work done by his crew. Required 60% down from the contract, then 5% more 2 months later, when all was said and done he did not complete the contract as signed. Also was not willing to honor discounts for poor craftsmanship he himself offered without an argument.
