From the moment the demo was done I was approached for more money than originally contracted for. I was continually informed of what was not included in the price. The pricing was current market yet the work was below average. The contractor was barely present but sent his girlfriend instead who seemed to take every opportunity to cut corners. I was asked to pay before the work was complete since they had another job stiff them. I withheld the last 15% die to income/poor work and they took me to small claims. The problem I think is not the contractor or his skill but his absence from the job and reliance on someone hoping to rush and cut corners. I will provide photos of work upon request. clemons_kara@yahoo.com siding installation left gaps, walls not wiped before painting leaving dust painted into walls, interior cabinet doors not painted yet was sanded leaving scratches, outlet covers not removed before painting, magnet not removed from door and painted around, driveway repair was bordered making it extremely noticeable, left grout on tile too long and applied vegetable oil and sanded to try and remove, motor oil applied to sliding door instead of adjusting wheels at bottom, gaps left in fascia, nails and cigarette butts left all over for me to clean ... The list kind of goes on and on. I asked to resolve and they would come fix 1-2 things and start asking for payment again. The job was for a re-roof and interior remodel largely consisting of paint and flooring

There were communication issues from the beginning regarding payment and scheduling install and painting around my work schedule. I was 99% happy with the drywall repair/replacement, but there were areas inside the utility closet that were not taped and finished. There is sealing/spackle(?) all over my doors, floors, handles, and a dried, hardened blob laying on my AC intake register. Their painting is rather amateurish. They did not remove light switches or outlet covers before painting, which made them difficult to remove/replace without damaging the paint job. Even a novice knows that one is supposed to remove all these prior to painting. There are corners and edges where I can still see the old red and orange paint (former owners). I could have and I have done a more professional job myself. Unfortunately, I am not physically able to do this kind of work anymore, that is why I hired a **professional** Lastly, they left us in the dark for 5 days, by not putting back up the lights that they took down. Lights were put back up, but one of the grounding brackets was not and who knows which light it belongs to (I guess that now I have to hire an electrician). There is a HOLE with exposed wiring in my hallway ceiling that none of the workers know what is supposed to be there and I am not sure as I have lived in this house for less than a year. This will certainly not pass inspection for insurance purposes. AND to top it off, they took a bag of things that I had purchased from the Home Depot when they left and have yet to return it. I was actually thinking about hiring them again to drywall my garage, but I think that I will probably hire someone else. Downgraded stars to 2 because they still refuse to return my calls/texts (blocked?) and their workers literally stole from me.

They went and bought the paint and everything, so I would not have to. They did a great job and I am already planning to use them again.

After agreeing on a price for siding, brick, paint, and fascia. I had multiple problems with the siding install that they had to keep going back and fix. I ended up having to fix things myself on the siding. Fascia was installed wrong the first time they did it, and had a different crew out a second time and did an okay on fixing the first mistakes. The paint crew over sprayed all over the top of the brick, after multiple attempts to get them out to clean the brick they have yet to show.

I been a genreal contractor for 40 years and J Garcias Crew has the best sheet rock hanging and finishing that i have seen my life. They are the Best.

Very pleasant to work with, he was on time and made the job simplistic.
