Arion was professional ,came on time gave me a quote. He and his crew were quick and excellent. They constructed three retaining walls. Quality of work was top of the line. They cleaned up their workspace and even cleaned up mine.I'm 85 and very nervous. He was patient and reassuring. The work area was tight and difficult.I would recommend this firm for any work you might need.Good price and very good work!

First and foremost, I found them to be honest. They were extremely clean during the repair and restored everything to its prior condition when they were done. Finally, they guarantee their work which is reassuring for the future. I recommend them whole heartedly.

J Guyon Construction did an amazing job transforming my muddy yard into beautiful pavers. They were extremely detailed and listened to every change I wanted in my yard. Since I had to work during the day, Arion made sure he sent me photo updates and kept in constant communication with me. Would most definitely recommend them to all my family and friends !

Arion was very knowledgeable and took time to identify the source of the damp smell in our basement. His team worked efficiently and meticulously to repair the crack in our foundation. Arion answered all of our questions both before and during the job. The damp smell has already dissipated!

Needed repairs to flagstone walkway. Discussed options with Arion about different stone, shape and width. Replaced entire walk with stone matching color of siding in house and wider than old walk. We wanted to upgrade our yard this summer but I was not sure what our options were. We had some cracks in our stamped concrete and it needed some work. Arion came by to take a look and he had some great suggestions for us to choose from all within reasonable estimates. His team worked fast and we ended up with beautiful blue stone all around our pool. We plan on having them come back next year to help improve our front yard too. Review for J Guyon: When we first started with this company Arien Guyon appeared to be an honest and reputable person, but at the end of the project he displayed how dishonest he really is. When I first read his reviews I dismissed the negative comments that a lady named Dorca wrote.  I assumed, like most, that 1 negative comment is not bad. Upon going through the HOME Advisor complaint process I can see why most people don't bother following through. It's a lengthy and drawn out process. I began my complaint over a month ago. Who has the time to go back and forth with the complaint process, especially with the amount of things that we have to do on a daily basis. My  advice to future customers thinking of using this company for any of its services is not to only read reviews, but to ask how many complaints against this company have been started and not followed through. His men are great. They're hard working, honest and very neat. His men always cleaned up the job site before leaving at the end of  each day. I have no problem with  his men or the quality of their work. When I ceased doing business with Arien Guyon I hired his men to do other projects on my property. I, nor his men, tried to hide it from him. Arien's men consulted with him before starting any work on my property. I'll continue to do business with his men, but never with him. The problem I have with Arien Guyon is that he had his men put a curb in my driveway instead of an apron. What masonry contractor would put a curb on a driveway? Instead of owning up to his error he wants me to pay him again to do the job correctly. Fortunately for us, we didn't pay him in cash as he wanted, so we have a recourse. This also shows his shortsightedness when it comes to business because we really like the way his men worked and planned to use his company for work on other properties. Unfortunately, I can't use his men to do work on my other properties because the other jobs require work permits. To further compound his duplicitous conduct, Arien's foreman has the audacity to say to me, "if you give him the job on ur other property he'll do the apron". Now im supposed to be blackmailed into him fulfilling his original obligation to our contract. How egregious is this behavior? So, before going into a contract with J Guyon Construction, do your research and never give him cash. Now, be aware, he'll give you a sob story about a problem with his account as to why he needs cash to pay his men.  Don't believe it and stick to credit cards.  No matter his lies. It's best to be safe and to err on the side of caution. My wife and I are professionals. She's a registered nurse of 28 years and I'm a retired electrician from Con Edison. This was never a situation where Arien Guyon had to beg or plead with us to get paid for services rendered. He doesn't stick to his scheduled and reschedules at the last minuet. They don't come on time and don't put in a full days work.

Aaron was awesome to work with, it started with my basement being dug out to be 7’ from concert to ceiling but because of a few problems it ended at about 6’2” and lower in some areas. The work quality was great, my only complaint is there was no adjustment on price when they couldn’t go deeper.overall I would recommend guyon because of the work quality
