They came and gave me an estimate. I hired them and they started work. They finished maybe 1/4 of the project and said that the work was going to take more time to do. Then their machine broke. My mistake was I paid them. They promised that they would be coming back after the machine got fixed. Never came back, never returned my calls.

Johnny and his crew were professional, polite, on time, and thorough in demolition and replacing our concrete walk. They were neat/tidy in preparation and clean up. Even though our project wasnâ t t big in scale, Johnny was quick to respond with the estimate and follow up to set an appointment. Great communication throughout so we knew what to expect. The end result looks great!

He was meant to pour a smooth concrete patio, it is rough and has holes in it, they did not have an edging tool to smooth the edges out. They took my shovel and hid all of their trash under my tree. They ordered concrete on my friends account. To get it smoothed and field its going to cost me $2000.00

I initially gave a very positive review on my concrete slab project but time has shown a different side. I contacted J&H to pour a 10" by 18' concrete pad in my backyard for the purpose of constructing a shed. they responded very quickly and began the project right away, finishing it in two days work. I did not realize the concrete was completely unusable for constructing a shed until my shed contractor arrived. The biggest problem with the concrete pad is that there is a large lump in the middle of the south edge of the concrete pad that rises a full 10 inches above the far side of the pad. This means rain runoff runs towards my house on a full 1/3 of the pad and it is impossible to construct a level shed on this pad unless you build a new wood platform on top of the existing concrete pad to take care of the lump. I contacted the contractor about the issue and they responded and told me that the fault was essentially mine because I didn't specify the type of shed I was going to construct on the pad. I'm not sure that ANY type of shed would work with that large of a lump int he concrete. The thing that annoys me the most, however, is that I paid them $2100 for the pad and asked them for just $250 of that back for this unusable pad. They initially agreed to my request and told me they'd be sending me a money order. I still have not received the money order and they no longer return my calls. The workmanship is poor but lying to the customer about your intentions to remedy the solution is even worse, in my book.

J&H did a great job on installing new concert in our garage where an area of old cement was cracking and flaking off. They did a great job of installing the cement to the initial contacts and meeting about the project. They were really good with communication and the final cleanup after the work as finished.
