Job was left a mess and unfinished per the contract. I should have known this was not going to be respectable work when the contract requested 94% of payment on day 1 of a 4-day project. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I gave 84% on the first day, and the contractor agreed to that. Needless to say, the job was not finished properly; the contractor took down the ceiling light and never put it back up as he said he would, so I had to pay an electrician after the fact. He also painted the bedroom they were working on in the dark or by cell phone light in the evening, spilling paint on the furniture, floors, and carpet, which had to be thrown out because of it. There were also large chunks of drywall compound on these same items. There was insulation from the ceiling all over the room, and furniture that was never cleaned up. I spent hours after the fact trying to clean up the mess and will have to hire a painter to make the room look livable from the streaky, uneven look full of missed spots and fingerprints that were left there. I was and still am horrified with the work that was done there, and I have pictures to prove it. I do not want these people back in my house.

"1) You had to hire an electrician from day one because your wires were sparking when there should not have been power to them. I am not an electrician and am not certified to do that job, and that was explained to you. Second of all, we took pictures of the work, and your tenants even thanked us for coming and getting the job done so quickly after checking the room out, so that is 100% a lie. Also, you do not say anything about this for over a week until I send you the final bill. Now you are unhappy. It seems more like you are trying to get out of paying for the work my guys did. and I personally finished and painted it, so I know it was perfect. minus the holes etc in t"

This man is awful! He dragged the project out and left it unfinished after sending belligerent senseless text messages late at night. Shoddy work and a huge mess but most importantly left in the middle of it and cheated us out of money!

"My guys went there to do their work. The drywall was hung and their labor, as well as materials, were paid for. After all the additional work needed, such as nailers being added, due to you ripping out the framing and not doing it right, adding more work to the plate, expecting it to be free... I have a full 5-star rating, everyone has been happy with our work, but, we put quality first. You can lie all you want, at the end of the day, this is why I do everything with contracts. So, this kind of thing can't happen... You just wanted to cheat the system and free work."
