Jim did a marvelous job remodeling my kitchen. He is very customer service oriented and met all deadlines established. He made a point of standing behind his work and after 4 months we had a couple problems that he is going to come and correct. I am pleased with his craftsmanship and his great work ethics! I will use him again as well!

Jim's pricing for installing 400-sqft of porcelain tile was great. He installed all the underlayment and did all tile cutting, thinset, and grouting. Great advice on materials to use, and even provided some material (~$100 worth) free. I did a little extra work at the end for filling in a few gaps with grout caulk and re-doing some baseboards that weren't put on correctly. This amounted to about a couple extra hours labor for me, and it looks really nice now. I would hire him again. Other contractors couldn't match his labor price. EXCELLENT value for the money. I'm very pleased, and I'll probably hire him to finish my laundry room, too.

Throughout the project Jim was honest, respectable and friendly, I would strogly recommend him to others. He did a quality job on my deck, and I know I will use his business again for other projects, knowing that I would not need to get other bids.

Jim is very easy to deal with. We built a 1200 sq foot detached garage and he made it a great experience for several reasons: we communicated via phone very often, he ordered enough material to do the job with very little scrap leftover, he got us the right material and colors we wanted (hardi-board siding, carriage door garage doors, etc), and his sub-contractors (cement and electrical) did an excellent job. Also, he pays his suppliers! I checked up with them and really found out he pays them asap! I think paying the suppliers is more important than building the garage because I don't want a lien on my house! I'll use him again!

Jim and his crew only added 7' x 13' to our dining room, but it made an awesome difference! We now have what feels like a huge dining room with lots of big windows overlooking the backyard gardens. Jim had to line up the new ceiling and one wall with what was already there - it looks like the house was simply built this way! Jim is an honest man and keeps his word and his crew that worked with him were nice guys. They showed up to work every day - he promised the job finished in 3 weeks and it was. We love this new room so much -- every morning my husband and I sit in comfortable chairs by the windows, drink coffee, watch the birds, and talk about how we feel like we have a new house. And once or twice a year we'll extend the dining room table to it's full 12' and our crew of 18 will have plenty of elbow room -- no more going out the side door and in the front door to use the bathroom!!

I thought Jim was a very nice, down to earth person that I could relate easily to. He stayed true to the schedule he originally gave us and completed the job on time, with just a few things left to do. I think I may have called him with questions more than he did I, but he always answered them. We have asked him to do more work for us this spring as he has given us a great deal for the work provided.

We are very happy with our deck. J. Hruska Construction did a great job. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to our friends and neighbors.

Jim was very easy to work with from the initial quote to the final walk through. I would use him for future projects.

Jim was very thourough and great communicating during every step of the project. He completed the job in the time he quoted and the cost he quoted. We will definitely hire him again for another remodeling project in the future.

The plumbing supply house did not receive the hardware in a timely fashon but the company kept us informed through the delay.

So far everything is going ok. They are almost done with the project. I will update the rating when completed.
