What a mistake!! He swore he had done dozens of epoxy floors. He hadnâ t. I found him looking at a how to video on YouTube. We would have fired him then but he already had half the money. He said half the money up front and the balance on completion. Nope. He begged and pleaded for more money all the way through the job and we only got him to finish when we refused to give him any additional money. How long will it take? He said two days. Our belongings sat outside under a tarp for a month. And the result? A horrible job the flaked off two months later. This guy has no idea what heâ s doing. I would have given him ZERO stars if that was an option.

this was a very small patch job. I'm very happy with the results. will hire again.

I hired Mr. Justin Godfrey to re-side the garage side of my house and install three new construction windows and an entry door on the same side. The windows, according to expert contractors, were not properly foamed, and door was not shimmed properly, resulting in an adjustment by another contractor. The siding job was a consummate failure on the part Mr. Godfrey. It soon became clear that Mr. Godfrey had never put on cedar shake shingles before, for he did not know what to do with the fiber board that goes on behind the shingles and had to receive advice on how to do. Moreover, 9 out of 10 shingles has a gap between them, some so wide they will not receive caulk. Instead of taking my advice and calling a contractor I knew who could show him how to shave each shingle to get two abutted shingles square, Mr. Godfrey resorted to (1) saying caulking will solve the problem and (2) telling me the gap was the result of the shrinking of the shingles--just days after they were put on. Needless to say, kiln-dried shingles do not shrink in a few days. Furthermore, despite repeated request to get a mix of shingles affixed to the wall to avoid seam-on-seam effects, the request was ignored or forgotten. Occasionally, I had to insist that shingles be removed and new ones put on to avoid the poor appearance of the work. Mr. Godfrey wasted almost an entire box of shingles--$290 dollars worth. Despite repeated promises to do the work himself, rather than the inexperienced helpers he employed, the inexperienced helpers put on the shingles. On on occasion a boy no older than 16 years old was putting on the shingles--an hour after Mr. Godfrey promised me he himself would do the work. Three fourths of the way through the job, I promised Mr. Godfrey a bonus if he could finish the job with a better look in the upper part of the wall. His employee continued to produce poor work, though he might have done better had he not been smoking while measuring and cutting more than 20 feet up a ladder. Repeated requests to pick up cigarette butts were ignored. Essentially, Mr. Godfrey made excuses every step of the way for his incompetence on this job, and wore me and my wife out with apologies. I strongly suspect Mr. Godfrey's references were bogus. I very much wanted to hire him because of the quote and because he is a veteran. I am now considering a lawsuit for the poor quality of the work, which rendered the $4,000 dollars I had in materials a waste of money. I am going to pass over the fact that Mr. Godfrey promised to complete the job in 10 days, but could not even complete it in two weeks before he said he had to go to Florida for his father's wedding. It is one thing not to know how to do the job you said you could do; it is quite another to refuse to adapt, learn from others, and find a way to keep your promise, and make excuses instead about why the quality of the work is obviously poor to every person who knows about siding. At two in the afternoon, when the sunshine hits the garage wall, you can see the fiber board between the seams of 90% of the shingles. My wife and I are gravely disappointed with Mr. Godfrey's work. He could not even bring his own extension ladder to the job!

Justin was professional courteous on time and his price was very reasonable.

Very reliable... actually follows up with customers... fair price.. excellent work.. would not hesitate to recommend for other jobs
