Write a ReviewJessie was prompt with everything, but most important Honest!!!!!!!
Hired Jesse to FIX a leak in the patio roof and seal the entire roof, and to remove old insulation/tiles, and to install new ceiling tiles inside the patio. I explained to him that the roof was approx 35 yrs old and that we needed 1 leak sealed and the rest of the roof sealed to prevent future leaks BEFORE he accepted the job. Our original agreement was to power wash and spray the entire roof with a water sealant product. Jesse recommends NOT doing that and said that removing and replacing all the screws in the center rail that held the drop ceiling frame with new screws, grommets, and silicone from the outside would be a much better repair. They were supposed to use wood planks over the peaks of the roof to prevent damage BUT they did not and the roof is now damaged. about 1 wk after he finished, moisture from morning dew leaked through the screws in the roof (you could see daylight around the new screws), staining 2 of the NEW tiles he installed. When I called him all he said was. The roof is old and needs to be replaced, and refused to accept responsibility for his poor workmanship. I had to plead with him to return just to see what I was talking about. I pointed out the 1 ORIGINAL leak was still leaking, PLUS 4 new leaks from the new screws he just installed. He agreed that they had messed up installing the new screws improperly BUT he still blamed the roof for being old and all he wanted to say was You need a new roof. I asked him if it was really a problem why did he say he could fix the leak and accept the job of sealing the roof in the first place? After leak testing, he used Henry wet patch on top of the poor work instead of fixing it properly according to the contract. NEXT INSIDE: When he pulled down the insulation from above the hung ceiling he did not take care and damaged several splices in the ceiling rails and when I pointed it out to him he wanted to charge me extra to fix what he damaged! I also requested that he replace the 2 new, water-stained ceiling tiles, he agreed and came back with 2 that were of a completely different pattern! I pointed this out and his response was that he would have had to buy an 8 pack of tiles to match what he already installed instead of a 3 pack. After He leak tested a second time he said he would not return FOR any reason because once again he said the roof was old and needed to be replaced. then printed a new invoice and VOIDED all warranty.
Good experience. Goood service for a reasonable price.
Be very careful about hiring JJS. He bid on my job, I accepted his price with no haggling, called to schedule a time, called the day before to confirm and he still never showed up or called.
Jesse contacted me right away and we worked out the details of the project quickly and he gave me an estimate quickly! Looking forward to other projects with him!
Polite and professional.
Jesse is a very nice guy and and easy to work with. The shiplap job in which I hired him for came out really good.
Jesse did a good job.
Professional and friendly. Did a great job.
