J&J Tree Experts

I would not recommend J&J for tree work. While the crew was friendly, the quality of their work was lacking. After they trimmed a branch for us, we experienced further issues. They cut too much and damaged the tree, making the cut too close to the trunk and beyond the branch collar. Their equipment was inadequate, resulting in a sloppy job. I consulted two certified arborists to assess the tree's health, and both recommended fertilizing it due to the significant wound caused by J&Jâ  s cutting. When I contacted the owner and shared the arboristsâ  findings, he dismissed my concerns, claiming the tree was rotten and it wasnâ  t their fault. However, neither arborist indicated any rot; they only noted the damage from their cut. I explained the situation to the owner again and sent him both emails, but he refuses to take responsibility. All I asked for was a partial refund to help cover the fertilization costs needed due to their work. After this he ghosted me.

They also cut my telephone wire.

The estimated price was great for the many trees needing to be trimmed, however, I think he bit off more than he could chew. They arrived, spent an hour or so on the property then said they did not have someone experienced enough to finish the job. Wanted us to pay half today and half tomorrow. They were going to **write up a contract** for me but then just left without saying a word. They also left their trash in my driveway to clean up. Completely unprofessional and upon searching, there were no real reviews for this place I could find besides home advisor.

Called for an emergency. They arrived within 30 minutes, quickly surveyed the property and were working minutes later. Very professional and easy going. They knew every type of tree on the property and it's health at a glance. Very happy with the results.

Brian listened to what I wanted done to my tree. He gave me suggestions about the trimming that were very good. I could tell that he knew what he was talking about. Brian pointed out some issues with the tree. The work was very challenging for Brian because a few limbs were over a service line. He did a perfect job of trimming the branches and limbs without hitting the line or damaging my privacy fence. The young men did an excellent job of cleaning up all of the debris. Brian also sprayed two of my trees to kill carpenter ants. I don’t want to lose my trees so spraying for the ants is important to me. The other companies that gave estimates did not even mention the ant problem. I found the cost to be very reasonable based on the difficulty of the work. The tree looks great and I feel confident that it will last for many more years. Thanks Brian and crew.

These guys were nice but not very well prepared for a dangerous job. They did a poor job of cleaning up and not a very good job of clearing out bushes and stumps. I would not use them again.

They cleaned my yard, cut trees and bushes and cleaned up after. They were very prompt, started almost immediately and finished in one day.

They did an extent job trimming bushes out front and putting mulch down.

Work hard, very pleasant

2 young hard working guys.

They are a great family owned business they trimmed one of my trees and removed the other one that was near power lines and didnâ t even touch the lines.
