Shawn and his Dad were a great team. They refaced my cabinets and did an excellent job. My cabinets were old but they were in good shape but they found a way so I could have the soft close hinges They also built a free standing island with a butcher block. It turned out so great that it looks like a piece of furniture.. They are professional and they produce high quality work. I would highly recommend them.

Amazing father son team. Loved working with these guys and will again on my next opportunity. The work is beautiful, great price and very knowledgeable with our design. We needed a bench to fit in an oddly shaped old bay window. We were so impressed to see what they came up with.

Shawn and his father were very communicative, produced high quality work, listened to what we wanted, and did all of this in a timely and cost-efficient manner. They surpassed my expectations!

This is a small family operation that cannot offer the services they promise because they have little control over their subcontractors who do most of the work. They charged me $3600 for refacing my maple cabinets and 3 months later I have mismatched color doors, some with gloss and others with matte finish, peeling veneer and a company who won't return calls no matter how many times I have pleaded for them to come and repair their problems. I definitely would not recommend this company and would urge anyone to take their business elsewhere.

Bought my cabinets through Home Depot and had Shawn and his father install them. Shawn is very professional. I felt they did a good job although I felt there attention to detail some times was lacking.

From beginning to end, JK Carpentry offered exceptional service. When I contacted them, I was in a real bind. My handyman had taken ill and couldn't finish my kitchen install with me. I was faced with finding all new help in the middle of a project! Shawn & crew jumped right in. I emailed them my plans and got a quote right away. They arrived on time, were professional, and did outstanding quality work in a timely manner. JK was able to come up with ideas my handyman and I hadn't even considered! The end result was a product which exceeded our original expectations. True craftsmen.

Father and son came to do the estimate and they were beyond helpful in making suggestions, identifying needs and solutions, and providing a very competitive cost estimate. Their painter, Oscar, is an artisan and will transform whatever project you are undertaking. Just purchase our first home that needed some upgrades. Dealt with a few contractors/installers etc. Joseph and Shawn (JK Carpentry) were the BEST! Could not be happier with their work, professionalism, and craftmanship. They installed our new cabinets (purchased from retailer), ran into some problems and they found solutions and made ajustments on the spot. I also purchased a few linen closet doors (they manufactured and installed). Perfection! Work was finished on the deadline date and when I had some questions they personally came back the next day to check things out. They are awesome! Highly recommend them. Thanks Shawn & Joseph!

11/10/2012 LAST WEEK JK CARPENTRY REDID A 75 YEAR OLD HALL CLOSET , INTO TO A BEAUTIFUL DOUBLE HARD WOOD DOORS LINED INSIDE WITH CEDAR WOOD. IT TURN OUT GREAT. HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY CLEAN RAYMOND L NORTH HOLLYWOOD

Excellent craftsmanship. Did not follow written plans as well as I expected.

Shawn did a fantastic job on matching some cabinet doors that were very old, and did it in a really quick turn-around time - unbelievably quick. The job was small, but I called him back for an even smaller trim job and he took care of it. It was some small detail work, but important to us and it looks great - exactly what I wanted. Great to deal with and I would positively recommend for high quality work and reasonably priced.

Great Communication skills. They really listened to what my concerns were, outlined several solutions and helped me make the right decision. Not cheap, but they used quality materials and finished my job AHEAD of time. Problem solved... Thanks guys. John F

My husband and I are in the throws of a massive remodel; we have been frustrated by the lack of ethics associated with some of the service community; however, JK Carpentry succeeded in exceeding our expectations. We were left in the lurch by another carpenter and were at our wits end. JK came in and not only understood what we wanted; they produced our massive pantry in just two days and it is beautiful! We called them back to finish what the other had started�and again, beautiful! I love these guys and will recommend them to anyone who needs professional carpentry. If you are in need of outstanding customer service and workmanship�these are your guys.
