I strongly recommend avoiding JK Exteriors. Based on our experience, this company has not followed through on its commitments. We paid a deposit for a roofing project, and seven months later there has been no work completed and no materials delivered. Communication has been extremely poor?despite multiple attempts to contact Jake, we have received no clear answers or progress. Before hiring, I had heard that JK Exteriors did good work in the past, but that was not our experience. After the delays continued, I looked further into the company and found numerous cases and lawsuits on Missouri CaseNet involving similar complaints. If you are considering this company, proceed with extreme caution. In our case, we paid a deposit and were left without a roof, materials, or meaningful communication.

Roof and gutter replacement completed with professionalism and care. I would recommend this company. Affordable quality workmanship with follow through and attention to customer satisfaction.

Jake, Kim and Mike were just wonderful to come to our rescue. We lost many shingles in the last set of storms. The company that installed the roof would not and still has not return my call. Jake returned my call the next morning and stopped by the same day. Kim scheduled our job and Mike came out the same week and did a great job replacing the shingles and ridge cap. This is the second time that we have used JK for storm damage repair. We are calling JK for any job we have in the future.

After 2 months it is not even started yet and they do not answer the phone or text. They cashed my down payment of $4000 2 months ago. Have not heard from them since.

I had Josh T, give us a quote just before china flu hit. We placed it on hold. Due to being freaked out over the virus. A year later, I cold called Josh out of the blue to do the job. He couldnâ t believe it! I knew material values went up, but I didnâ t care. I just wanted JK Exteriors to do the job. Thatâ s where my level of trust was with them. Communication was excellent, prompt responses. Never left a question or concern hanging.

Jason Z. was on top of everything from start to finish. He listened to what I wanted and then produced my vision! He took care of our concerns immediately and went above and beyond!! We completely transformed the look of our house with a new roof/siding /and windows! I would do it all over again with Jason and JK Exteriors!!! Highly Recommended!!!!!!!

We worked with Jason Z and Jake from JK Exteriors on a total face-lift on our business. They put on a new roof, new siding, window wrapping, new doors and out door front porch area. Rich Brown was very helpful in deciding which roofing shingle to use on my new roof and his advice overall was very helpful. He also made sure the job was done to his satisfaction. Best experience working with a contractor Iâ ve ever had. My salesman Josh, had my back from start to finish with pretty much daily followups. No question went unanswered. The project was done on time and turned out beautiful. The clean up was immaculate. I couldnâ t be happier.

Great company. They came out to our house so fast and saw the damage to our flashing on the front of our house, gave me a quote and then finished the project in quick amount of time. Jason Z. is very knowledgeable, honest and makes sure the job is done on time and done right. Could not be happier.

This was an excellent company to work with. Rich made sure all my questions were answered quickly and that I was happy with the work. Did everything possible to make process easy. Roofers were very hard workers on a very hot day and stayed late to finish before rain.

This is a very frustrating review to write because ultimately the quality of the work is quite good. That being said, the customer service is terrible and the communication skills are non-existent. We have used them for 4 projects (new roof, leak, new windows, and tuckpointing). Their approach to scheduling is âwe will show up when we show up and do not ask any questions. If you do happen to ask questions, the answer is often I will check and get back to you. Spoiler: they will not get back to you. I have resorted many times to asking are we looking at days? Weeks? Months? Next year? To which I have gotten a response of I will check or someone will come over. The straw that broke my back was an ongoing leak that they have been helping us with. Full disclosure: they did not cause the leak. It is an old house. However, the response for a month has been we will send someone right over. After complaining and multiple follow-ups for nearly four weeks (first called in June and now it is July 25th), I finally got an excuse of it will be a while because we are having staffing issues. The frustrating part of this is that it was not communicated at all for the first month and only came out after extensive probing. I completely understand that there are work delays, but customers have the right to be informed so that we can look elsewhere for more immediate issues. JK is concerned about their commission so keeping you on the hook is their primary objective. They will tell you that the turnaround time is fast so that you sign/order, and then drag it out as long as possible. A similar experience happened with our windows and tuckpointing. After months of follow-up, you finally get to the root of the issue (I.e. supply chain delays, staff vacations, etc). All of these are completely reasonable, but it is unacceptable to hide those delays for months and string someone along. Unless you have no timeline for a project, I would not recommend them.
