Very nice and professional. They left my basement spotless and finished the job ahead of time. We will definitely call them again.

I hesitated during this virus to have my water heater replaced, but John and his assistant came in with full masks, gloves, and booties, so I felt very safe. I have already recommended them to a neighbor. His price was lower than the one received by my neighbor by another service.

I would give him ten stars. He did a fabulous job. He gave me a fair price. He filled me in every step of the way. I would highly recommend him to everyone. He cleaned up every day. I think he loved my vacuum. I trusted him with my home. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. He replaced my pump up system in my downstairs bathroom. He had to dig two feet below my foundation. He took out the old shower and installed a new one. He replaced my sink. I told everyone in my family if they need plumbing work to use him.

I had a 40 gallon water heater burst and reached out to multiple plumbing companies. John was the first to contact me and understood the urgency of the situation. He was extremely professional, explained the "who, what, why" of everything that could, should, and would be done and provided all possible options for replacement with 4 different quotes. I hired him and he singlehandedly replaced and upgraded my water heater with zero issues. Keep in mind this all took place in a 24 hour window. I WILL be using J&K again for ALL of my plumbing needs. CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH.

John is a pleasure to work with: polite, accommodating, respectful of one's property, always keeps appointments, leaves everything neat and clean, and does excellent work. In other words, he's a gem and I recommend him without reservation.

This is an update. Have to have sink and tub plumbing redone. Tub doesn't drain because it actually runs somewhat uphill. For both sink and drain went from 1 1\2 to 2"and back. PLEASE DON'T USE IF U HAVE A HOUSE OLDER THEN HE IS, I'm having work redone for 1/3 of price. He disconnected pipes from the vent leaving me with a loud gurgle. The minute I raised the issue he became very defensive. He has never acknowledged removing the plumbing from the vent. When I tried to get him to fix it (there is an unused vent 5 feet away) THEN HE STOPPED communicating with me. Please don't use him if you expect him to resolve issues with his work.
Response from Company:
The reason the lav sink gurgles is that the drain piping is half blocked with repugnant bio-slime(gunk) and rust. The build up has taken place over the last 66 years. No vent was "disconnected" as the home was built in 1950 when no secondary vents were used. Instead the out of date "drum" trap was changed to a code required "P Trap". The later holds less water and the poor venting was accentuated. Actually when they issued was raised it was the customer whom became demanding in spite of our policy..."problems may developed as project progresses. Not all such problems can be corrected by one single contractor. It should be expected that problems might be discovered. However, included are the main tasks to be addressed. Any and all new developments outside of this list are to be addressed as they happen. If this contractor performs the work then the problem will be addressed with individual pricing." I offered our Bio-Clean product to open the drain and possibly the drain might stop making noise. It is the 20 feet of galvanized drain piping which is rotted where it meets the waste stack and needs to be replaced. The plumbing is required to have a permit by the city; along with a plumbing inspection. The customer refuses insisting a lav sink drain can be vented by a sewage ejector pump from the floor below. Basically defying gravity, engineering principles, and common sense. This customer desires thousands of dollars in repairs, free, for spending a few hundred dollars to connect a new sink to an aged and decrepit drain. This customer refuses to take responsibility for her homes infrastructure. She had "issues" with several contractors on site and has 'shorted' the electrician money owed to him for work she asked him to do. There were several red flags for this job and instead of backing away I stepped up each time getting work done that was not even in my job description. PLEASE DON'T DO WORK FOR HER IF YOU EXPECT HER TO UNDERSTAND ISSUES WITH PLUMBING.

Put in new shower heads that met our needs. John was on time, gave us a fair price, left area very clean and wore booties over his shoes. Very congenial person. When he came to give us an estimate we explained our needs and he gave us choices as to how it could be done and gave us the pricing. Work was done as specified and pricing. Would recommend him and we would certainly hire him again..
