Extremely Unreliable ? Incomplete Job and Poor Communication I hired Josh Leo / [Company Name] to handle the striping for a parking lot project in Yuba City after completing the asphalt paving. They provided a striping plan shortly after the paving was done, and we discussed the scope. I accepted their quote with the understanding that they would stripe one side initially and return to complete the remainder. Unfortunately, after striping only part of the lot, the crew packed up and left the job unfinished. This left me with a significant incomplete project costing $50,000. When I reached out by phone to understand the situation and arrange completion, the call was hung up on me once they realized who was calling. Subsequent attempts to contact them, including through my secretary, were met with blocked numbers and no response. Josh and his team works for me for more than 20 years. He did between 12 and 15 of my restaurants every year. From basic striping to resurfacing parking lots. He works hard. He works unusual hours. And he did whatever he needed to do to keep my business operating while he was resurfacing or sealing my parking lot. Most companies will not extend that service to you. Nobody’s perfect, but he tries to me the customers needs. And he was always available when I called him.

Quoted one price, changed it when he got to the job, they did a good job just wasn t happy with being quoted a price and then asked for more money when he got here.

Absolutely great service! My neglected asphalt driveway sorely needed sealing, and when J L Blacktop finished, it looked brand new. All the nasty cracks were filled and the thick coating will keep it protected for another several years. Put this company at the top of your go-to list!

I would certainly recommend Josh and plan to use him again for future jobs. He is very communicative, knowledgeable and diligent. I believe he was fairly priced compared to the competition as well. Only criticism would be to set clear expectations on the outset of the project so that both contractor and client know what to expect upon completion. I’m overall happy with end result!
