    Definitely recommend because: product and construction knowledge; trust in their advice and ability to address problems in the existing floor as well as how to lay the new flooring; and reliability in scheduling, care of ownerâ  s property (included maintaining a clean worksite for the off hours) and respect for the ownerâ  s property while working. As previous reviews often allude to, you are working with a company run by the owners, Lee and Joy. Joy provides the sales information and guides you through the process of deciding on the type of flooring and was a great help in figuring out the look we wanted (in our case she went above and beyond to help us obtain quality flooring (LVP) in the design and color we wanted during the chaos of the no-stock-on-hand period at many national and regional suppliers). They are both very down-to-earth, thus easy to talk to. If something is going to cost you more than another option, or an issue will require an additional cost, they are very direct and open in explaining the reasons and the options. We had one area that required much more work to remove our old floor than could have been determined before-hand (what they found under the last re-re-reflooring in that area done by previous owners). They explained the issue to us, showed us what they were talking about, and quoted the extra cost. When the final payment was due at the end of construction, there were no surprises; no little extra expenses, just the contract amount plus the extra cost we had accepted to address the problem area mentioned above. They also worked around some items that had to do with follow-on remodeling that was not part of their job. They did not nickel-and-dime us for working around these issues and they took note of our explanation of the remodeling project, so they knew what was going to change or stay, planning their work so it melded with the work of others to follow. Leeâ  s knowledge of flooring and the fact that he plans out and gets the total job done as part of a continuous processâ  prepping the floor, knowing how to address issues with the old flooring, and providing an expert job of laying the new floorâ  eliminates big problems (e.g. multiple companies sending in different workers, with varying levels of expertise, to do different jobs or address problems, and the cross-scheduling of all of that). The elimination of such headaches for the homeowner makes the construction a positive memory, not a story about disagreements and disappointments. During June through early July of â  23 we had JL install all new baseboards, while re-flooring the entire main level (think of all the corners and edges that had to match up on both items). Lee and Joyâ  s ability to get the prep work done accurately, then expertly laying the flooring, made the job go smoother, faster, and with Leeâ  s attention to detail, resulted in a professionally â  finishedâ  appearance based on quality workmanship.

    Project was pretty straightforward, originally quoted 2-3 days to perform and the work was scheduled about 6 weeks out. While scheduling, I was told that they may be able to do it earlier as filler work depending on other projects. Fortunately there was a Fri/Mon gap in their other work and they were able to complete my project early. Awesome communication throughout.
