JL Contracting was absolutely fantastic to work with during our basement remodel and was able to complete all aspects. Plumbing/Electrical/duct work/drywall/painting/etc ! The attention to detail, constant communication along the way, and the overall quality of the work was amazing. Josh was committed to completing the work within our timeline and put in long hours to do so. In addition, Josh is just a great person and prides himself on his work and the satisfaction of the customer is his top priority! Highly recommend him.

I got a few quotes from several companies for some bathroom remodeling work and was shocked on how high the labor charge would be. On a recommendation from a friend, I contacted Josh and found his quote to be much more reasonable. I suppose I was a bit skeptical that he could do what I wanted for the price. I wound up asking for some additional work on top of the original estimate and the additional charge was right on par with my expectations. Josh worked with me to go over all the materials that he needed to buy for the job and the finishes I wanted and sent me the exact receipts for the materials. Along the way there were a couple times when I wasn't completely satisfied with how something was done but Josh immediately re-did it and made sure I was happy. Overall he did a great job for a very reasonable price. I also appreciated that he was personable and eager to share his knowledge and experience. That made me comfortable asking him questions about the work so I could keep informed about what exactly he was doing every step of the way.

Josh is great for first time homeowners who have many questions. He will not only patiently answer them but also generously share how-to technical tips. He's advised on multiple purchase decisions from toilets to tubs to paint that make our two bathroom remodels functional and beautiful. With naivete, I picked out small mosaic tile that was complicated to install, but Josh was determined to get it perfect, much to my delight. I also added ceiling replacement mid-job, and he just rolled with the punches. More importantly, his expertise and skills come at competitive rates. I look forward to my next (bigger) project with him soon.

Josh is professional, creative and very talented. Josh is a perfectionist and treated our kitchen and basement/bathroom remodel like it was his own. His pricing was more than fair with no hidden surprises. He transformed our house to what we wanted it to be and my wife and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. This was our first major home renovation and he helped us make decisions the entire process. We will certainly hire JL again and have already been recommending him to family and friends!!!!

They made a few, but were always willing, and in fact eager to correct any issues in an effort to get the job done right. Top notch workmanship, attention to detail, and good communications. They are wonderful. Materials for the job was picked up by them on Saturday morning and they completed the job that same day. They upgraded my kitchen and did some work in the bathroom.
