"First off, I?ll say that Part of this review is true. A sub contractor was used for the tile work and he was a problem. He has been fired!!! This customer was rightfully upset about the timing but decided to start behaving completely out of control. She even charged back the payments and got all her money back. She then hires someone to resurface her hardwood floors on her entire house and stiffed him to! She had a right to be annoyed early but in the end just ripped everyone off."
"A subcontractor was used for the tile work. We are a roofing company. He did take a long time and was a problem. He was fired and the work was corrected. This customer disputed her payments and got all the work for free even though it was finished and corrected to her approval. She then calls back weeks later saying she had a scuff on her hardwood. SHE hired someone to resurface her entire house. When he was completed she refused to pay him. Complete SCAMMER !"
"Bill and his wife get drunk at 9am sit and watch the workers heckling them the entire time. They absolutely said they loved the work the entire time! When it came time to pay 10k they were well passed drunk as they drank an entire bottle in front of us and then refused to pay. The police were called and in result we were paid the money we were owed thank God! I would not have in 1 million years worked for someone like them if I would have known. Very sad to see alcoholism on that level. NIGHTMARE"
"J Leonardi Construction was called out for an estimate to replace a 4in thick concrete patio slab. The customer indicated that the previous contractor walked off the job and he needed the work done quickly. Looking back this should have been the red flag and we should have moved on from the project. The customer knowingly deceived us. Our contract clearly indicated only the removal of the 4in slab and installation of a new 4in slab There was a footer poured 5ft deep around the outside when the house was built by the customer. This footer was 24inches wide. This is why the contractor walked off the job. As we started, removing the pad, this was found. We reached out to the customer letting him know the extra work and backfill that would be needed to complete. He stated he knew about it. The project would have been more than double the cost if he would have been honest from the start! We decided to continue and just get it done for him and move on. He was very aware of the additional costs! One of the outside walls met the house and the garage. This area could not be removed due to risk of damaging the structure. The pad had to be poured 2 ft shorter to accommodate this. The customer was aware of why this had to happen. The review he posted is beyond ridiculous and simply in anger of an ensuing lawsuit we filed for his intentional lying and attempt to not pay for the work needed to complete the project. He is a landlord with many properties and a track record for ripping people off. We will be fighting to stop future behavior from a dishonest person."
"We were called out to fix a problem with the roof that was done by a previous contractor. The contractor would not return to the jobsite to finish the work or return a phone call. Our team completed the repairs and customer was very happy. He requested for additional work to be completed but we declined due to the difficulty of dealing with the customer himself. He preceded to make multiple requests from his email and others. These were requests that we had to pay for through multiple advertising companies. I have told him on more than one occasion we are not interested. There was nothing wrong with our work as he stated above. He is upset because we will not do anymore work for him or continue to call him back to tell him. This has been ongoing for 6+ months. I do believe in free speech and encourage reviews! It is a shame we have to live with such a terrible rating due to the situation but will move forward and continue to provide exceptional service!"
"Well I will start off by saying this review was posted by Matt at 3:35am on a Friday night. Here are the FACTS and timeline 1. Hired to replace a flat roof on a tall rental unit right on the lake 2. Roof is replaced and customer is very happy 3. 6 Months go by and we are called about a leak that starts. 4. Troubleshooting process begins due to no consistency in the leak. (Wind direction) 5. After 5-6 trips the leak is determined and proven to be coming from a deteriorated window above the flat roof. 6. The customer listens to our recommendation and has the window fixed by another contractor and the leak stops immediately and has not"
