I recently contacted Tim?s Plumbing to replace the battery backup for my sump pump and was told the diagnostic fee would be $99 and waived if I proceeded with the work. I explained exactly what I needed, including the specific make and model of the battery. When the plumber arrived, he ignored my request and instead tried to sell me a service plan, checked unrelated systems like my water pressure and water heater, and provided a quote for a full sump pump system replacement?none of which I asked for. After I declined these upsells, I was charged $334 for his ?time,? which was more than triple what I had been quoted. I felt misled and taken advantage of. Another plumber I spoke with afterward confirmed that this type of upselling is common when technicians work on commission. I ended up going elsewhere for the actual repair. I cannot recommend Tim?s Plumbing based on this experience and advise others to clarify all charges upfront and be cautious of aggressive upselling.

Eric was very thorough fixing our water leak, installing needed copper pipe. He cleaned his workspace after installing the new pipes and necessary equipment.
