"The homeowner was present during the installation and did not mention any problems. His observation was helpful when he pointed out a warp in the rough opening. Yes, we did use acrylic latex caulk, which is what is recommended specifically for windows and doors. If the homeowner had a problem with that product, I wish he would have said so at the time. Yes, we did use exterior trim screws, which we caulked in after the install of the PVC kick-board under the door, (which was done at no extra charge), because his siding was rotten. You caulk nail and screw heads to prevent any water damage. We also replaced the sub floor, with no extra charge, per his request. There were areas on the exterior he requested to not have caulked. The homeowner asked specifically NOT to make adjustments on the threshold! Homeowner was asked more than once about any concerns before we left the job site, he even asked for another quote on other work down the road. JMC's goal is to end with the homeowner happy but, if concerns are not voiced, we can not accommodate."
