I did not get a free estimate. When I received the call from the office I was told that it would be $185 for them to show up and 85 for each additional hour. It took 3 hours to make the necessary repairs.

When they came on the job they found an easier wary to accomplish the wiring and ended up a little over half the agreed upon price.

**Watch out for the BAIT and SWITCH QUOTE TACTICS!** Mike quoted a 3-hour job including truck charge at $350 to $450... I had them come out the next day. The gentlemen doing the work did a great job, exactly 3 hours as per the (verbal) quote... and I was charged over $600. I called Mike to tell him I had a problem and he argued it was for 2 men! He CLEARLY stated during our conversation that 2 men would be coming to do the job for $350 to $450!!... and Oh, yes, we do this kind of work all the time! NOT that it was double for the extra man!!! He flat out LIED to me. I even clarified when I called back to schedule the job... Hey, I do not want any surprises here. My exact words: So it is $350 to $450 for 3 hours? HE SAID YES!!! GET YOUR QUOTES IN WRITING FOLKS!!! This Mike character just burned a bridge with me because I will be having other work done. The guys that did the work did an excellent job! But the tactics used by this Mike guy are dishonest, and that is a shame!!!
Response by JMC Electric: We are sorry for any confusion on your Service Call today. As explained on Wednesday and again yesterday when you confirmed it would come to $440.00. I then explained if it was only 3 labor hours (1.5 hr per technician) it would come to $355.00. So by description of work said would probably be between $350.00 to $450.00. As promised we did come out and do all the fixtures and then you added 2 more fixtures to be done, a bathroom vanity light and a light on the back of the home. The technicians confirmed it would add at least an for each of them and you confirmed and they finished the project.
