Mendoza recently renovated our entire house, which was quite an undertaking. They have a great management team, very professional but at the same time very personable. Their subcontractors were all really good guys, trustworthy and committed to getting it done to your (ahem, or your wife's) satisfaction. Their guys coordinated well with our suppliers understand details specific to our project. Being able to attract and keep quality subs says something about a general contractor. When you take on a project like this, you will run into problems and discovery work. We were grateful to Mendoza for helping us to make some important decisions to get issues resolved that could have led to issues years down the road. Get these guys involved with your project early, you will find them to be a tremendous asset, they will earn your respect, they want you to be satisfied with their product. We would definitely use Mendoza again

Actually, the job started as a bathroom remodel, and then Jose switched to re-doing my siding from rotten wood to Hardie Board once I discovered I had considerable dry rot damage. I have a very big house with 4 dormers, so it was a big job. Jose also pointed out that I had no ventilation holes in soffits so he also redid this flimsy plywood to Herbie board pieces; fixing a huge issue. His crew are very hard workers, even in this heat, and do very good work. Besides all this his price was excellent. I would highly recommend Jose for any of your contracting needs. written July 2020 Bill Boyce

They were terrible. I asked for satin finish on my carport ceiling and got flat. I told them not to get paint on the screens of the porch and they got paint on it and did not clean it. It needed a second coat and they did not do it. You could see through the paint. Ripped me off.

Mendoza Construction did a superb job with my front porch addition. A bit costly but the quality is worth it. Each crew was specialized and did an amazing job. Jose came out each day to check on their progress and asked if everything was as I expected. Tweaking a little here and there was not a problem. I now have my dream front porch that looks like it has always been a part of the house.

Courteous workers, worked hard. They did clean up after the job. We did experience a power failure before the job was complete so they had to use battery powered tools to finish.
