Hired after receiving good offer for full replacement of drywall. They came in next day, removed the drywall, cleaned any mold, and put in new drywall. They then finished the Sheetrock layering. All in one day. Great work and fast.

JMK builders worked efficiently to give us an updated laundry room on our ground floor. Jimmy came in knowing exactly what we wanted and how to make it work. We are very happy with our new room!

We've dealt with far too many construction contractors, but Jimmy and team proved that not all of these experiences have to be bad. We had them install some luxury flooring and re-side a patio. They were on time; they were clean; they were incredibly skilled; they offered numerous non-self-serving suggestions along the way, and were the best professionals we've had since moving to Virginia 20+ years ago. Highly, highly recommend them.

After getting quotes from 6 contractors, we hired Jimmy to work on my mom's basement because he had great reviews, was reasonably priced, and most importantly, he was so respectful towards my mom. Jimmy went above and beyond to make sure my mom was happy with the work, which included removing wood paneling and rotted wood framing, re-framing, dry wall, insulation, paint, trim, ceiling work, and replacing interior and exterior doors. At the end of the job, which took about a week and a half, Jimmy knocked out the final punch list items quickly and even took care of some loose wires and plug covers. The team worked cleanly and were so polite, and Jimmy let us know up front that he was certified, licensed, and insured to do the work. We are definitely going to be hiring him again (and have already started that ball rolling!). I'm really glad we found him!

Jimmy and his crew are were so great to work with - we went from doing simple drywall work to a full renovation of our basement's living area. The project was very appropriately priced and the quality of work was top notch. Communication about small changes and adjustments along the way went very smoothly and we were amazed at the transformation when the project was finished. JMK Builders did an amazing job remodeling 2 bathrooms for our family. Our house is 69 years old. Jimmy and the crew were professional, prompt, clean, and courteous. Their craftsmanship speaks for itself. I will never work with another contractor in Northern Virginia again.

Jimmy's team did an outstanding job in finishing our basement. They were very flexible with the scope of work, allowing us to complete certain phases of the project on our own. They did framing and drywall while we did all electrical, flooring and painting. The drywall finishing was outstanding making it very easy to paint. Jimmy was great to work with and always available for questions and additional changes as the project unfolded. We had the drywall replaced and drop ceiling tiles changed to drywall. He added recessed lighting in basement recreation room and home office. He insulated and added beautiful laminate flooring. He painted all the walls including walls that led to reconstruction but not part of remodel. He also made doors open at a better advantage. We are very pleased with results and will use his team for other home projects.

Jimmy and team did an amazing job creating a 6th bedroom with a brand new window, insulation, drywall and lighting. Jimmy also installed recessed lights in another room and a pull down attic stair case. Jimmy & his team were great to work with and very accommodating.

Sold a house so needed the work done quickly (like within 2 days). I had to have 2 fire proof and air sealed access panels installed for the inspection. Not only did he bring the required access panels, frames had to be made in order to place the panels in the walls. The man sent by Jimmy was very professional with excellent workmanship. Highly recommended!!

Jimmy and his crew saved us from living with (1) unfinished work by an incompetent handyman and (2) an unfinished laundry room that we wanted turned into a combo laundry/kitchenette area. His team provided all the services we needed and wanted: demolition of old wall, new framing , insulation and dry walling, painting, flooring, and even electrical work. His workers are friendly, tidy and focused, and his pricing was very fair. Jimmy was great in coming to repair a plaster patch in our home. He kept us apprised via phone and text as his schedule fell a bit behind, but was knowledgeable, speedy, and did great work. We will certainly have him back for future projects.

Mr. Medina and his crew were great to work with. He turned a 1958 4' x 4' half bath into a wonderful 3/4 bath, complete with a shower that has gotten rave reviews by people who have seen it. JMK is my go to company for any work future work on my house. You definitely get your money's worth.

I've used Jimmy and his crew on numerous projects. Installed a new bathroom and kitchen, including appliances, ceramic floor, and new sliding door.
