We hired Jody to turn our back porch into a sunroom as well as replacing the siding on the house and a few other smaller things. He was very detailed in his quote and specific about the work. This was very useful during the actual construction when I had questions about the work, and when we found places in which we needed to change the quoted work. He did superb work and was very amiable. His wasn't the cheapest quote, but I got high quality work for my money.

We hired JMK Remodeling to convert a carport to a garage on our 1969 Rambler and what a difference!!! We interviewed several contractors and chose JMK because of the fair price (thousands below other offers). You d think I d sacrifice quality because of the lower price but that is NOT the case with JMK. He explained every step of the process, and creatively implemented several requests I made. He treated our home as his own and was careful to build a sturdy structure with attention to detail and the best materials. Additionally (where applicable) he had us buy our own materials so it would suit our budget - he was very thoughtful with that as well and told us what to buy and where to buy it so there was no guess work. He s very skilled and proud of what he does and my young family had so much fun taking part in the construction. The final product is beautiful... it completely modernized our home and I can t help but smile every time I drive up to our house. Inevitably, our old house will require more work and we will be calling him again. Hire Jody!! You won t regret it!!

Jody was knowledgeable and skilled. He replaced tile flooring in our foyer, replaced our front door and remodeled the half bath. He had great suggestions and the work was high quality. I also really like his approach of allowing the homeowner to select and buy materials like flooring so you get exactly what you want. He kept us up to date on progress and any problems he encountered. His communication was fantastic.

Listened to what we wanted, made good suggestions, sometimes arrived late

Jody installed new tile flooring in our foyer and replaced an 8-foot old window in our living room. We liked the idea of buying our own flooring which allowed us to have more style and payment options. He gave us great recommendations for buying what we needed. We checked with a few companies on the flooring project before someone referred us to JMK. The other companies did not mention leveling the floor to the extent that he did and we are pleased that we chose JMK. He is very skilled at what he does, professional and affordable. The quality of his work is exceptional. Would definitely recommend him for home remodeling projects and am glad someone recommended him to us!

Jody came and installed two barn doors for me. He was very thorough and very efficient. When he encountered some issues mounting the doors, he was quickly able to determine a solution to get the job done. He was constantly running things by me to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Doors looked great!

Jody's final product was a very nicely finished basement in our house. He runs a responsible and conscientious operation. He knows what it takes to complete a complex remodeling job. I particularly liked his "can-do" attitude and responsiveness to our changing ideas. The finished work was good, and where there were issues that we pointed out, he was mostly able to fix them. While the ultimate quality met our expectations, the project took longer than expected, and Jody seemed to have a number of issues with his subcontractors and a few inspection delays. We were also significantly over budget, partly due to a few change orders, and partly due to unexpected costs working in an old house.

Jody did what he said he what do. His design was top notch, as was the quality of the finished product. He subbed out the electric work, which I didn't mind. Would and most likely will use him again.

Jody has very high level of expertise, skill, professionalism and dedication to excellent customer service. Willing to go the extra mile to ensure and achieve the highest quality in construction and appearance of the work. Built a new bedroom for my son in the walk out basement of our house. He easily adapted in working around complex existing duct work and change orders such as: encapsulating tile floor underneath existing carpeting before cutting and laying down new carpet squares for the room, and adding a new closet. No detail was too small for him in making sure the job was done perfectly. Also did a great job of cleaning up after the work was done daily. Overall, an excellent job. Highly recommended. Will consider him first in any future renovations or construction in our house. Will definitely recommend him to others in our neighborhood.

I love my new kitchen, thank you Jody!! Jody has been working with me for over a year on my kitchen design challenges. My kitchen was the size of most small closets and we managed to more than double it in size. The kitchen remodel required new window installation, rerouting ducting, new drywall, adding ventilation, replacing siding, flooring, new electrical to the panel, new plumbing and all cabinets/countertop/appliance installation. Words can't express how satisfied I am with my new kitchen and how much I appreciate Jody's quick responses, attention to detail and flexibility with all of my design changes. Jody always kept me informed and provided spot on estimates so there weren't any surprise expenses. He understood my budget, was able to provide great recommendations for materials and even took the time to meet me when it was time to design the floor plan, pick out the cabinets and countertop. He takes pride in leaving a clean working environment at the end of the day and my dogs have even grown very fond of him I trust Jody because he delivers quality at a fair price and he knows his craft. After dealing with other contractors in the area, I am glad to give my business to JMK Remodeling...I have a list of other home projects waiting for him!
