Joe and his crew completed 90-95% of our project (mostly a patio) back in November/December and said theyâ d â of courseâ come back in the spring to complete the work. Joe asked us to pay the remaining 50% of the contract because we were the only work they had at that point in the season and, since it was the week before the holidays, he wanted to â take care of [his] guys.â My husband and I thought it was a nice sentiment, so we agreed - though, I did email an outstanding completion checklist to set clear expectations for the spring. Iâ ve texted, called, and emailed for 3+ months to no avail. So, keep in mind that even if he does complete your project, his one-year warranty means nothing! I will gladly revise this review if he reaches out and we come to a satisfactory resolution, but as of now, my next steps are filing a complaint with the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, contacting the AGâ s office, and if needed, filing a small claim for the amount Iâ ll need to pay a different contractor plus compensation for my time and stress.

I hired JM Mento Landscape Design to design and relandscape our entire yard in Dedham. Joe Mento was very professional and easy to work with. As the job progressed Joe was very accommodating with any changes we requested. We had a 750 sq ft brick patio installed along with approximately 200 ft of stone walls around the property as well as all new plantings. We also expanded our driveway to two car width as well as installing sod and irrigation throughout the yard. Joe always kept us up to date on budget and progress and was on property quite often checking on quality and progress. His crew led by Marcelo was there every day from 7:00am to 7:00pm. They were very courteous and respectful of the neighbors and would do a great job cleaning up at the end of each day. Joe also coordinated installing chainlink fencing around the back yard. II would definitely hire Mento Landscape Design again for any landscaping needs I have. Their work was very high quality and very reasonably priced.

I recently had Joe and his team out to install a patio, fence, and outdoor shower. The team executed with excellence from start to finish. Joe reached out quickly and was onsite providing ideas and an estimate in less than a day. Shortly after agreeing to the work, Joe had his team onsite and working tirelessly to complete the work. The job came out fantastic and has totally transformed my house for the better. I highly recommend Joe for his work product, professionalism, communication, efficiency. I will definitely be calling him back for future work.

I requested estimates from multiple companies for my projects and was completely impressed with JM Mento's high level of expertise. In addition, one of the projects was an emergency repair and I was happy to get an immediate response and a crew on site right away. I felt they went above and beyond my expectations. The final result is absolutely beautiful! We will enjoy our new landscape for years to come!

Quick response to getting masons on site And doing a quality job

We had a great experience with JM Mento. Joe came out and gave us an itemized estimate so we were able to decide what we wanted to do for our patio. The crew came out and did the work the following week. We were impressed with the quality of the materials that were used. The job site was cleaned up every night. The crew worked late each day in order to get the patio finished before the storm.
