I called JMR because of the impressive reviews I read. I wanted a company whose customers had a good experience. I was renovating two bathrooms, as well as moving my laundry room upstairs, and I had a pretty clear idea about what I wanted to do. I met with Jeremy, and he was very positive about what I wanted and about his ability to do the job I was describing. It was clear to me that I would find him respectful of my wishes and willing to work with what I wanted. After we started, Jeremy told me what to expect each day of the job. His team was punctual, hard-working, and very talented. They consulted with me when there was a problem or an issue, and they worked with me on all problems. I always knew what they were doing and how the job was progressing. As we worked together, I hired them to repair five skylight openings (two in a cathedral ceiling) which had been damaged by a roofer. They did an exceptional job on the skylights. I also asked them to replace my kitchen and family room floors, which were more than 40 years old. They helped me select an engineered wood floor which was perfect for my needs. I couldn't ask for nicer bathrooms. I added a small glass block window, which they completed to my complete satisfaction. Perhaps the biggest job was moving my washer and dryer from the first floor to an area in the master bedroom. This required some pretty astute engineering, as the dryer was to be vented through the garage to the outside of the house. Jeremy had had some experience with this work, and he personally supervised the moving of the washer and dryer upstairs. He knew measurements were tight, but he was confident that the job could be done. It went without a hitch and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. Jeremy has a well-run company with an expert, experienced crew. His job supervisor, Sean Cassidy, checked in with the crew regularly, and he emailed me each night to touch base and let me know plans for the next day. I had an opportunity to provide input with minor changes and to make decisions about anything that came up. I could not have asked for a better experience. All of the reviews I read were accurate in singing the praises of this company. My jobs are done completely to my liking, the work is perfect, and the experience working with JMR staff and crews could not have been better. They deserve an outstanding review, and I am certain anyone who hires them will not be disappointed, but instead thrilled with the experience of working with them.

JMR provided professional staff and quality work to completely remodel an 8 X 10 second story bathroom. Work started on time as scheduled, and was completed by the agreed upon completion date. Tile and drywall work were of high quality. The cost estimate was very reasonable and competitive with other estimates I received. I would definitely use JMR again for other home improvement projects.

I was impressed with every member of this team, from the project designer I met first, down to every worker, and including Jeremy who was always checking to make sure everything exceeded expectations. The guys were meticulous when building my deck, adding features and finishing touches I would never have thought of. Everyone was courteous and professional and if any more projects come up in the future I would hire them in an instant. My neighbors are all admiring my deck and wanting one too!

Jeremy and his team were great to work with and I would hire them again (this particular project was for a bathroom remodel (tile, shower, pocket door).

UPDATE 6.3.19: JMR home improvements will take your money and not finish the job! JMR started my kitchen remodel in August of 2017. It was supposed to be a 6 to 8 week job. It is now June of 2019 and it is nowhere close to being finished. The tile floor is uneven and has places where you can trip on the tile. The cabinets were put in so quickly and carelessly that most of them have damage. The owner (Jeremy) will not return my emails or phone calls. Save yourself the trouble and hire another contractor!

Jeremy, Don, Brian, Beau and all his contractors did a spectacular job. All were courteous and always cleaned up after themselves. This was great since it was a master bath redesign. Walls were knocked down, plumbing moved then added elsewhere, doors were added and the bath doubled in size. Don did a great job on the design and Jeremy and his crew made it happen! It is so nice to have someone else do all the work while I just chose what I liked. My husband and I are very happy with our new bath.

The contractors that work for JMR are polite and professional. They know what they are doing when they come to your house. I would definitely use them again. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Words can’t describe the wonderful job Jeremy and his crew did building my new deck. Jeremy’s construction crew was kind, courteous, and answered any questions I had. From discussing and finalizing the design and materials, to negotiating the price, to demolition of the old deck, to completing the new deck, and cleaning up any remaining debris the work was top-notch. Since I have had four back surgeries, I had a ramp off the back that allowed me to roll a wheel barrow of wood on to the deck. Mario (crew chief) designed and had his guys install a “bridge” that is level from the back of the deck to the ground. He also added a small retaining wall to complete the bridge. It is great and will allow me to easily transport wood on to the deck. This was over and above the style we originally discussed and is much better than the ramp. Concerning construction and building materials, I could park my Ford F150 on this deck. These guys built one strong deck that will last many, many years. Getting back to the planning and design. I was planning on an all wood deck. However, Don (JMR Rep) suggested that I upgrade the railing to PVC/metal balusters/Trex cap. He pointed out the pros and cons (no pressure) and I decided to go with his recommendation…….glad I did! The upgraded railing turned the deck in to a very classy looking deck. Well worth the added expense. I now have a beautiful deck of which I am proud. I highly recommend Jeremy’s company – JMR Home Improvement. Excellent work at reasonable prices.

Jeremy and his crew are very professional and good people! JMR is an excellent contractor. They replaced my entire kitchen from new wood floors to light fixtures. They notice the wiring in the kitchen was done wrong and not within state code and fix all the wiring for a very good price. Thanks to him and his crew I have the kitchen I always wanted. I am looking forward to Jeremy and crew to be part of my next project soon.

Work was done right. They're pros. but not friendly

Jeremy and his crew are professional and good people! JMR HI is an excellent contractor. They replaced my kitchen vinyl floor, my basement carpet and padding, and painted the woodwork and walls and ceiling in my kitchen and basement; this was after water leak damage. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking to remodel their home. I plan to have them remodel my bathrooms in the spring. They are professional, honest, and advocate for the client with the insurance company after water damage.

Jeremy, the owner of the company came and give us advice and price quote. It is very reasonable and suited our needs. The team came and got the job done in the same day. They clean up after finishing the job. We are very happy with our new kitchen hardwood floor. Can not ask for more from such prompt and reliable company. Suggest everyone to use this company
