Shower Installation and Replacement
I don't normally do reviews, but in the case of JMS Partners, I feel I have to make an exception. They did three different jobs for me this past summer and all I can say is I am extremely happy with the work.
They never left the job site without thoroughly cleaning. John's workers are well qualified, friendly as well as John. He keeps you in the loop through all phases of the job. I can't say enough about JMS Partners and will definitely call on John again if the need arises.

As busy and in-demand as this, high quality company was, the owner and team worked around their schedule to provide a prompt assessment, quote, and coordination for the renovation work on family room that had been partially flooded from a water tank leak. They were efficient and also were attentive to detail, including set up and clean up.

We had a terrific experience with JMS Partners. We originally contacted for a living room ceiling repair, but the project grew when we realized that our roof also needed new venting. JMS Partners was willing to work with us to find solutions that were affordable and could be completed in a timely manner. We are so thrilled with the way that ceiling turned out! Fabulous job. Couldn't ask for better work. The job was done perfectly, you'd never know it was one closet a few days ago. The 2 workers arrived at the promised time, were great about keeping the house clean, really appreciated them covering their shoes. They were great to deal with and did a fabulous job. On the financial side, working with John was a pleasure. He gave us a great quote and stuck to it. Would definitely work with again.

JMS Partners is a small firm, and, because many many houses in our vicinity had sustained (2015) winter damage, the firm has been very busy since then, so that we had to wait several months for the work to start. This was not a problem for us, because the weather was warm and because John Tartaglione, JMS's owner, was conscientious about managing our expectations. Once the work started it proceeded reasonably quickly, smoothly, and on budget. The JMS employees involved were always friendly, courteous, workmanlike, and competent. Mr. Tartaglione has communicated with us frequently via telephone and e-mail in order to coordinate plans and to keep us informed of the status and the running cost of the work; he also dropped by once to introduce himself and to deliver the municipal work permit. <br /> JMS has been flexible in accommodating our concerns as to specific dates and times of the work and as to details of the work to be done. Our dealings with the firm have been consistently pleasant, and we consider them to be conscientious, trustworthy, and competent in every respect. We are planning further repairs and enhancements to our property, and JMS Partners will certainly be our first choice to handle all such jobs. <br />

I can't recommend JMS Partners highly enough. They were transparent, creative, reliable, diligent and empathetic at a time when my Wife and I needed help. <br /> In January, we found out we were expecting twins which was great news. Unfortunately our home has been a renovation project on a house built in 1794 and the only suitable bedroom for a nursery had a 6 inch sag in the middle of the hardwood floor. In turn, all furniture tilted inwards, hardly ideal for swaddled babies. In March, we hired another contractor to come and do whatever was necessary to level the floor only to see him go completely dark (10+ calls with no response) on us at the time he was to come perform the work. With less than 2.5 months before the boys were due and not knowing how to fix the floor, we found ourselves in a tough spot. <br /> We called several contractors referenced highly on Angie's List but only John from JMS responded in a timely way. He listened to our situation, not only taking time to understand what was wrong with the floor but the implications to us if it wasn't fixed. Despite being extremely busy (as many contractors were behind because of the long winter), John cleared his schedule and came by a couple of days later for an evaluation. To ensure that the right solution was devised, he also had his colleague Tom come perform his own analysis at a separate time. A solution was devised which involved jacking and bending a large structural beam incrementally over a few weeks and, once straight, nailing LVL boards to the side to keep the beam straight. From a contractors perspective, I could see this being less than ideal as it required them to make a number of periodic but quick visits to monitor the progress and deal with building inspectors. Despite it being out of the way, they made the trips and gave routine updates all the time giving us honest assessments around the potential results. Ultimately, they completed the project 2 weeks ahead of our due date, under budget and in compliance with our town's building codes. Further, you would never know there was a sag in the floor and our twins sleep very well at night. <br /> These are truly good quality people in a time when that is very hard to find. <br />

JMS Partners is an exceptional business and had been recommended to us by a neighbor who also had a very positive experience. John, the owner, is extremely thorough, professional, and has a team of skilled workers whose efforts he coordinates to execute exceptionally high quality work. As examples of John's expertise and attention to detail, on his first visit to our home to give us an estimate, he recognized a dehumidifier in our basement as one recalled for a fire hazard (we checked - he was right), and by carefully listening to our goals for our basement project, he was able to help us solve some issues with our basement and transform it into just the space we had hoped to create. We also used JMS Partners to repair some 1960s wooden french doors in our breezeway and for electrical work in our home. <strong>All work has been done to perfection.</strong> He also assisted us in selecting and locating appropriate carbon monoxide/smoke detectors. We will certainly use this contractor again and would highly recommend JMS Partners for any home project. <br />
